Will Destiny be Balanced in 2.0 [Poll]
So 2.0 is suppose to balance weapons in the Crucible. The patch notes seem to be convincing enough to have faith in a more fair crucible.
Although we yet haven't seen all the new exotics in year 2. Also TTK raid weapons might be OP (kinda like VOG weapons).
Soon enough we shall find out if Destiny's balancing attempt helped or worsened the Crucible. Good luck Gardians!
Feel free to comment your opinions if you believe something else will soon become op with 2.0 tunings. Suros? Hard Light? Mida? Your guess!

You can approach balance, but you can never truly attain it. First, we will have a few awkward days of trying to figure out the ins and outs of the balance patch, followed by deciphering what weapon has the most consistently low TTK, to which everyone will dogpile onto until it has to be nerfed.

Luke Smith said something before along the lines of "every weapon type will have its heyday", I'm beginning to believe that they make certain weapon types OP on purpose. Must have to do with some type of psychology, maybe the angrier the game makes you the harder it is to put down. Probably the same deal as Call of Duty, I think Activision knows exactly what they're doing by publishing unbalanced games.

6 RespuestasI get the feeling that hand cannons will become underused, auto rifles will be ok, but not great, scout rifles will be pretty good, and high impact pulse rifles will dominate, especially red death.

I don't really care. I use scout rifles and do quite decent with them. I might die a handful of times from red death, thorn or tlw, but that's my own dumbass fault for being a lemming and going the same route.

3 RespuestasAs bungie refuses to seperate pve weapons from pvp,it will forever be broken and require nerf and buffs Until they create their own weapon & armor for pvp it will constantly be adjusted.

1 RespuestaDepending on how strong the pulse rifle changes are I can see either them still being dominant or probably mida being the new go to gun. Although thorn being a 3 hit kill probably wont change much, TLW will still wreck at close range which is every destiny map and hawkmoon will still be good for a follow up melee. So I wouln't be surprised if handcannons remain dominant

I think it will be balanced so Bungie knows that pulse, snipers, machine guns, fusions and rocket launchers are stable right now, scouts are almost balanced and they are getting a little buff which it's fine, hand cannons are not balanced they are the most powerful right now so they are getting a nerf that personally think it will stable them, auto rifles are bad right know that's why they are getting a buff and I think they will be stable with the other primaries, now shotguns, shot guns are getting a deserved nerf it's just ridiculous to get killed by a shotgun like 4 feet or 2 meters away, I think it will be finally stable.

Thorn and TLW are going to become similar to the mida now where it's still a viable option but one of the auto rifles will most likely take the spot for top gun and people will cry for another nerf.
