I'd be infuriated if they made us start over AGAIN. I'd probably leave Destiny if they flushed our equipment. I've been supporting them since I first played Halo 1 but there's only so much abuse I'll take.

Every Playstation exclusive gun has to be brought forward, bungie has no choice. But I imagine they will do the same and pick some exotics and move them forward. They might back pedal and bring forward some of year 1 guns that didn't make it to year 2. Maybe they reason they are "updating" only a few extoics at time is because they want to balance them as much as possible so they are not broken like ghorn or underwhelming like necrochasm. Maybe the end game is to have all exotics viable, they just have to take their time and move forward each past exotic one buy one. The alternative reason could be that they don't want the game to get stale so they retire a weapon for a like year and force us to use new weapons, but the extoics will eventually come back. I'm OK with that because all though I enjoyed destiny for the most part this last year I will say my gun rotation was really boring. I know it sucks losing your favorite weapon but I think in long run its what is best for the game. And maybe if bungie figures out how to better balance everything so we don't get anther thorn or ghorn situation then maybe in the future bungie will allow us to take every weapon we want into new content.

I look at each year like a refresh. Were you complaining on 9/9/14 that all your guns were irrelevant? No, because the game was new. Each year come at destiny like it's a new game. The stuff the the previous year is in the past. Let it go like the memory of something that was a dream and drive on.

Unless someone from Bungie comes to my house and kicks my dog or something, so long as Destiny keeps giving me more of the same (plus a bit of new stuff) I'll keep playing.
