Is there any reason to play the next Iron Banner?
I love ToO because of the smaller teams and the tighter communication.
Iron Banner has always been something I forced myself through, just to get the gear rewards. And it seems like every month, Iron Banner lag gets worse and worse. Last month, at least twice a day, I and everyone in my friend list, simultaneously experienced Xbox live downage for 10 minutes at a time.
With TTK releasing soon, and all pre-TTK legendary gear being stuck at Year One levels, I'm not even seeing a point to playing Iron Banner this time around. I don't see the worth in subjecting myself to the lagfest that Iron Banner has slowly turned into.
Do any of you plan to still play? Why? Do you think there's a chance they might make this next IB's gear be TTK gear?
Edit: I decided I'm still gonna play for the rewards because Bungie can never make up their mind about these things. There's gonna be enough vault space to justify holding on to gear with hopes that they may change their minds.

Nope. When the ttk drops all the gear will be obsolete. So no there is absolutely no point. Unless you think the level advantages are fun but, most people are 34 already. So that's not really important.

1 RespuestaI play IB each month and actually like it, I think mainly as it gives you an incentive for weapons/armor/light, etc. Since all mine are 34 the incentive is less, and with light going away it makes no sense. Like alot of the replies below I believe there will be no IB until after TTK drops.

I really like Iron Banner, I have since the first one, so I'll be playing. I like the design of the armour and I'm still missing the greathelm.
