What would you be more apposed to happening to you? I am wondering this because of all the people saying that r-a-p-e is worse than murder in my other thread. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/148669906/0/0
Edit 1: My other thread that I linked has since been removed, even though it doesn't violate the CoC.

1 RespuestaEditado por Xur's Thiccc Tentacles: 8/25/2015 5:06:40 AMDoes getting r@ped for a guy mean a woman has sex with me against my will, or another guy does?
-
A human life is the most valuable resource on the planet. Murder of course.
-
My dyslexia kicked in and read rapper or murder. I was thinking, definitely rapper

1 RespuestaI would say r-a-p-e, just because someone who has lived through that experience has to live out the rest of their life while having that memory haunt them. On the other hand, murder is permanent, sometimes it's painless, but sometimes it's instant... I guess what I'm trying to say is I would rather have been instantly killed, rather than living my life knowing I was r-a-p-e-d. Comment your thoughts

Editado por Adoptedflame: 8/25/2015 4:31:17 AMThis is such a difficult topic. No one here can relate to being murdered, and while some of us can relate to being raped others cannot. Both are terrible, terrible crimes. I would say the distinguishing factor is rape, and it's resulting trauma is something that can be moved past from. Do not tell me otherwise, some of my closest friends have been raped and they are among the strongest people I know. What they went through was absolutely terrible, and the depression and years of pain after are awful, but they are still living. Murder does not grant this option. However, there are many who also do not recover from the rape, and now deal with having to personally live in this hell. Depression, anxiety, and variety of other problems that can all arise from being raped. This affects the family as well, until you know what it's like to see someone you love be in such a dark place you cannot simply relate. However until you know the pain of having someone you love be gone from murder, you also cannot relate. It builds a question that a young Hamlet asked. "To be, or not to be. That is the question. Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or to take arms against a sea of troubles and by opposing end them." While he spoke more directly to suicide, it's still very relatable. Is it better to live in hell, or to die and not live at all? There's no real easy answer for this question. It really depends on where you stand on your philosophy for life, and your own personal experience with loss.

Murder is harder for the family Råpe is harder for the victim
-
4 RespuestasRàpe for sure. If someone says murder then they don't understand the actual concept of ràpe and the ràper
-
4 RespuestasBad grammar
-
-blam!- cause the victim is still alive.
-
1 RespuestaWhat if you murder, then -blam!-? Is it -blam!- if the corpse can't say no?
-
-
All sins are equal in the eyes of the LORD
-
3 RespuestasMurder, you tend to stop living after getting murdered
-
With murder, one person's problems are completely gone. R@pe on the other hand leads to even more problems, especially when caught.
-
-blam!- because it's left to haunt you. Murder it's over with in a second, while -blam!- lingers for a lifetime
-
You mean rаpe?
-
What if you rap e then murder?
-
6 RespuestasR@pe is worse for the victim.
-
It got taken down because a mod got butt hurt by it probably
-
R@pe, you have to live with it for the rest of your life. At least when you're murdered, that's the end of it
-
6 RespuestasBoth are pretty satisfying.
-
Murder, at least you're still alive after being -blam!-
-
All depends on the person
-
1 RespuestaOff Topic has a lot of perverts. Of course the majority doesn't pick rape. We're a bias group.
-
2 RespuestasI'd rather lose my life than my dignity. Also I'm a dude and I am not okay with butt stuff.
-
Murder, as the person is dead.
