I loathe people who boast about their "real life priorities."
I dread coming across people like this in gaming.
You know the guy that says stuff like... "well i have real life priorities like my mortgage, my car, my wife and kid." They try to belittle you like they are somehow better than you.
Well let me tell you something dbag, I don't care about any of that. I don't care about your responsibilities or priorities.
And let me tell you that MY priority in life is watching films, going to the gym, and playing video games. Now let me ask you...why the hell are your priorities somehow better or more important than mine?

Gym membership, watching movies and playing games don't pay for themselves. so at some point you'll have to think about employment responsibilities to fund these activities when your parents get sick of your spongey ass.

Because your priorities are purely self centred - this doesn't necessarily make you a bad person but it's an indicator of an immature and underdeveloped personality Don't worry you'll grow up one day, get a girlfriend, have wild exciting sex and end up paying for it for the rest of your life - sorry I mean change your priorities

Comments like that have to be provoked. It's either YOU started out by bragging about your destiny skills or YOU started off by telling them how much better you are at the game than them. The typical response to those type of comments are "well i have priorities in life and that's why i can't spend all day playing destiny." Once again, those comments don't come outta no where, they gotta be provoked.

10 RespuestasOk I'll bite...it's not a matter of boasting, more a not so gentle reminder of why we can't spend all day grinding dragon strikes or may need a little help from Xur "earning" an elusive weapon or piece of armor. Would I rather play Destiny all day then get up at 7 and work 12 hours hell yeah. But the reality of wanting nice things and having to pay bills means I have to do these things as opposed to watching movies, lifting, and generally doing more than just bro'ing with my bros bro. Don't worry one day you will wake up and realize you're one of us now and at first it will be startling but eventually you will learn to love the grind and enjoy your 20 minutes of Destiny before date night with the wife also.

If I want to spend all my time playing games with my woman that's for me to do. You don't have time to play because of your kids? Your fault for breeding. Have to work extra to pay bills? Get better at your finances. Wife up your ass? Too bad, you married her. Don't blame your "life" because you still can't shoot straight. People who play games all the time are like people who read all the time. It's just what they like doing.

And why are you so mad about it? I am sure they don't mean that they are better than you, and that they are justifing why they don't have whatever the hell you bitch about that they don't have. For some, probably a surprise for you, life is not that easy. So gaming and gym and movies they come second. Because life style doesn't allow that luxury...doesn't mean they are better or worse than you. Thats just life, and from person to person is different.

I love Destiny I pump countless hours a week into it and really enjoy doing so. I do work a permanent job, but only when I need some extra money which is not very often (usually to pay for upgrading my rather chill gaming room), subsequently I've got plenty of time to do whatever I want. I made a lot of money when I was young in England, finances are a none issue. Am I lazy? Yes, absolutely. Do I care what some wage slave with 4 kids from the Destiny forums thinks about my life? [spoiler][b]Nope. They are what is known in the industry as 'Irrelevant Individuals' /fin. [/b][/spoiler]

Depends on if you neglect things irl like paying back debts, your family and friends, or harm someone else through your particular interests. If so , then yeah, you're kinda a crappy person. If you live alone and don't have ties or obligations to anyone, then more power to you.

Masturbastion is not working out and the guest bedroom with the treadmill and the work out DVD doesn't count as the gym. If your not an adult that's fine for now. If you are an adult and that's all you care about ... I'm sorry ... how can you not want more out of life? Take some responsibility in your life and get out there and make a life for yourself. People bring up "real life responsibilities" because its "real life" you don't just sit on your ass playing games, watching TV shows and jerking it. You work and pay bills and take care of your family and become responsible tax paying citizen of this planet! Then you have a "hobby" like video games!

They aren't, however don't try to belittle me by calling me "scrub" because I don't have time to play videos games. Don't judge my Grimoire. Don't bring up the fact I've never done a Raid or Beat PoE 35 or went flawless. How bout we just have fun and talk about Destiny.
