Remember months ago when Bungie claimed the reason they couldn't increase vault space was because previous gen couldn't handle displaying all the icons in one place?
AND NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN IT CAN. PROVE ME WRONG

They didn't say that. They said that they got rid of previewing guns from the vault because of last gen. People are stupid and then turned it into an entirely different thing.

3 RespuestasDid you notice that the "vault" has tabs? It's basically separate 3 vaults(not 1). Each separate vault contains the SAME amount of spaces as our current vault holds. They did not EXPAND our current vault. They made 2 additional/separate vaults.

5 RespuestasI dont know why they cant separate old and new gen machines and code more space for new gen owners. If youre on old gen you keep the current sized or TTK sized vault. You can say its unfair but its logical. Playing on next gen should be an enhanced experience, unfortunately its being held back by older, less powerful systems. PS I am not an elitist, I just recently sold my 360 and all of its peripherals and games for 150 then found a One w destiny on Craigslist for only 125 more. Be cautious of who you buy from and you can find great deals. I understand being broke but that doesnt mean anyone elses experience should suffer and progress should be held back to accommodate older systems. Destiny is a next gen game, I wish they go balls deep with it.

You do know a feature was lost on last gen the last time vault space was added right? They lost the ability to compare weapons who knows what the poor bastards will sacrifice next for the double space lol

I see you made a second edit cx just for anyone who doesn't wanna scroll, it didn't have the satire tag for the first hour it was up yesterday, then it was edited to add the tag, but he didn't include the "edit:typo" at the bottom till someone called him out on it cx

They don't display all icons but rather a single page of icons with 2 pages for weapons and armor..... and 1 page for general. From the looks of it and how the other systems work (exotic collection/shaders/etc) they completely revamped the entire vault/save system. Which I am sure took a lot longer to do. So bungie gave more vault space with their current system and then truly revamped for TTK.

You then proceed to take the items in the first larger box and separate them into the other boxes in a nice neat fashion that categorizes the items into several, even smaller, groups of items. Your first box now has much more room and since the other items have their own specific boxes, you can now put more items into the first larger box you had.
