Good afternoon fellow Guardians :) Just a quick something to get us primed for (finally) the first Twitch reveal tomorrow. Here's a screen grab from a [url=http://imgur.com/Mck5EH1]primer video[/url] that I can't believe Bungie don't have up on the news feed (found and added it up top): Let's break down what we know and think we may know, because I know how much we all love to speculate ;) [b]Nameplate Collections[/b] - My guess is this is going to be a place to store all our emblems so they don't take up vault space anymore like they're doing with the shaders. [b]Artifact Slot[/b] - I'm guessing this is to store artifacts (duh) that once all collected are assembled into a mega weapon of death who's sole purpose is not to kill minions of the Darkness, but to make the nerf babies cry themselves to sleep at night on their rubber sheets. [b]Armsday[/b] - We know this one. Once a week we can order a Legendary weapon from the Gunsmith for glimmer. They arrive on Wednesdays with random perks. On a side note, this seems to suggest that reforging will cease to be a thing (replaced by infusion I'm guessing). [url=http://imgur.com/GWchhkA]Exotic Blueprints[/url] - Could this mean that we are getting our wish and all exotics will be actually earnable instead of praying to RNGesus? Maybe. Could also mean that blueprints drop instead of actual weapons or Xur sells blueprints and then we have to maybe complete bounties/quests to have them built. Very interested to see how this works. Notice the sorting by year also. [b]Collections & Vaults[/b] - My guess is this is referring to collections being implemented for certain things which will allow us to have more Vault space free for others. [b]Legendary Marks[/b] - The new end game currency useable at all vendors Vanguard/Crucible/Faction. [b]Infusion[/b] - My guess is this will replace reforging. From the hints dropped, I'm guessing we can use our gear that sadly isn't ascending to upgrade our new TTK weapons. I'm pretty sure we will be able to use this to Transmogrify gear to keep looks we like, but the speculation is that we will also be able to transfer perks somehow. [b]Shader Collections[/b] - We know this. All our shaders are going to be stored on a terminal freeing up vault and post-office space (finally). no more deleting our thousandth Achilles. [b]Level 25 Character Boost[/b] - Newbies get to skip past go to level 25 on one character allowing them to get to endgame quicker so they can hurry up and get on the forums and cry for nerfs when they die from not knowing maps/characters/weapons. Thank goodness for rubber sheets. And finally I want to personally thank Bungie. Way back when, I asked in a post for Faction Vendors to have rotating stock and to sell custom shaders with Faction symbols on them (like the weapons had) for strange coins.
