Why does it need to be labelled as the best? It can't be the best game ever for multiple reasons. 1) no one has played all possible games to compare last of us to 2) any classification of good, better, best would be purely subjective and inapplicable to another's perspective. Having said that, it was a great game with solid gameplay and an ever better story. IMO, best zombie game for sure but that isn't saying much.

I had a PS3, but I didn't play it until the PS4 remaster. It was tough being a Podcast Beyond fan and not having the story ruined for me. I went in with no expectations, but I thought it was fantastic. The beginning tore my heart out and the beginning of Winter was a very cool change of pace and one of my favorite transformations for a video game character. It has very fun and underrated multiplayer. It's a great game. I'd encourage anyone to check it out.

The last of us is my favourite game of all time. I just beat it the 6th time yesterday and already started a new game. It is really a masterpiece that gets too much hate.

1 RespuestaI played it when it came out. As I played it I read articles praising it's accomplishments and by the time I finished, due to the excessive hype, I found it to be a bit overrated. Don't get me wrong, it's a good game. 9/10 maybe. Definitely not a 10 though.

I absolutely love the story and characters. People say the story isn't original and that it's been done, but it's the experiences, the environment, and especially the characters/voice actors which make it unique. The music score was spot on too! The subtle things in TLoU really draw you into the game.

I thought it was awesome. Great story and great gameplay. And I really liked the characters, especially Joel and Ellie.
