Fallout New Vegas advice?
After feeling the Fallout 4 hype I realized it would only be fair to play a fallout first. My friend Steam shared New Vegas to me and so far I love it! Any tips for things I should and shouldn't do?

24 RespuestasYou have to play Fallout 3 as well! Amazing. And IMO the storyline is better. And has WAY better DLC than New Vegas. Like Mothership [b]f[/b][b]ucking[/b] Zeta. Don't get me wrong I LOVED New Vegas but the addon content for 3 made it a little better IMO.

Work on your science and then go to the camp McCarren southwest of new Vegas and work on getting the gun This Machine. Search it on YouTube it is extremely helpful.

2 RespuestasTry playing without saving; you must rely on the autosave. This means that you can't save right before any lock or computer and just revert if you fail lockpicking or hacking.

3 RespuestasIf you're gonna steal always be hidden. Always lol. Just do it, trust me. Level up repair to get the Jury Rigging perk, and energy weapons are cool and all but don't put too many points into em. Unless you didn't get the Wild Wasteland perk, then once you find a special energy sniper you may want to do otherwise. If you DID chose that perk when you started the game you get a dope ass little alien blaster (can't find ammo anywhere in game tho, but it's pretty OP). Won't tell ya where lol

6 Respuestas1. Go to Silver Rush once reaching Freeside 2. Do their missions until reaching the point where you need to bring Rose of Sharon Cassidey to what's-his-face. 3. Tell Cass to wait in closet. 4. Stealthily carry every grenade/mine (and optionally guns/ammo) into said closet. 5. Save 6. Steal ALL of it. 7. Give what you can't carry to Cass. 8. Lay Plasma Mines at strategic positions throughout building. 9. Use Pulse Mines to make sure explosions reach all mines. 10. Return to closet 11. Throw Plasma Grenade 12. Close door. 13: Enjoy your arsenal of Energy Weapons.

get NVSE. Get Skyrim Mod Organizer by tannin(also works on fallout). you're going to need to download and run python so it can work. setup MO to run NVSE through MO set it up to run WyreFlash FNV4GB loader(You need this. it sets the game to be Large Address Aware enabled, so it can use more than 3.5GB of ram. without this you're gonna CTD with several mods) mod the F*** outta new vegas. so many mods. Unofficial NV Patches improves overall stability. vurt's wasteland flora overhaul improved LOD Shiloh's map retexture shiloh's map recolor(yes, two different mods) whatever outfits/weapons you want, caliber-x weapons of the new millennium. patches for both wasteland repopulated electrocity bison steve. multiple followers and anything else you want. avoid cazadors. until level 20 at least.

Salvage everything with some value. Give them to your companions to carry if you get full. Those caps will just roll

Scavenge as much junk as you can and take it with you to the big MT along with some powerful weapons and get all the cybernetic implants before you go

1 RespuestaIf this isn't too late, if you are going to take on the legion, don't piss them off too early. The assassination squads can be a bit tough to deal with at lower levels.

1 Respuesta1. DONT GO NEAR QUARRY JUNCTION, EVER! 2. Get the DLC and stuff before you start, you get a bunch of neat starting gear if you do. 3. Join the Brotherhood of Steel 4. Join the NCR 5. Dont end the game, you cant continue playing after the ending. 6. Karma doesnt matter so feel free to steal everything.
