Wow. Just wow. I thought I was going to get TTK but now I'm not so sure. This whole thing is ridiculous. Etheric light was one of my favorite features from HoW and now that concept is going down the drain. Unbelievable

1 RespuestaDear Bungie, I’ve been playing Destiny rigorously since the Beta came out. I happily exchanged what limited time I have upgrading my light level, obtaining new gear, and crushing raids. I kept my head down during the first changes of the game (patch 1.0) and have even defended Destiny in conversations about how unbalanced the game truly is. But that’s fine, and I would gladly do it all over again. I do however have to draw a “hard line”. Today while skimming the inter-webs for the information I crave about the newest challenge, The Taken King, I came across a particular article. “Destiny; you can’t upgrade Year One Legendries in The Taken King” What are you doing? Who thought that was a good idea? Deej, on more than one occasion, told all the guardians that this game wanted you to earn your loot. To have something that says, “you have no F**king clue what I went through to get this”. The terror of a Thorn haunts me, the ping of an Icebreaker makes me grin, and the sight of a Gjallihorn just flat out irks me. And I LOVED IT. But now you want to take my legendries from me? Two thirds of my current fire power. The days I spent running raid after raid for hopes of a Word of Crota, lost. Meaningless. Obsolete. I tested the Beta, bought the game, bought expansion 1 & 2, and preordered The Taken King (between you and me, you guys really screwed us over on the digital collectors addition, but that’s neither here nor there). What I’m trying to say here is, I’ve been loyal. Thousands of people have been too. And making the tools of their trade obsolete shows one thing. Not that you are giving us new and better gear. That what we all have done to this point wasn’t worth a hill of beans. To put plainly, I don’t want the next garbage you push out. Praedyth's revenge has been at my side all this time. Fix this. Respectfully, Psychyouout93 aka “Psycho”

Where does the line form to get our time back?

3 RespuestasEditado por CUSTODYIN: 8/4/2015 10:32:58 PMit really just irritates me how incredibly brain-dead Bungie is being. It's like they need to choose one extreme or the other, they never look for a middle ground. "We listen to your feedback" they say, well bungie... Everyday it is abundantly clear that you are not listening to your community, but instead ignoring what we have to say. You also contradict yourself on a regular basis. First you tell us, we want to give us a way to bring our old hard earned gear with us... Enter HoW and the Etheric light system, a step in the right direction! Everyone gets to use their favourite weapons and armor again! (Also, PRO-TIP! The reason no one used your new HoW gear is because you made it horrible, not only was it missing a perk, but you added things like Dreg and Shank burn... Probably the two most useless things ever to be added to the game, the only thing that could be worse is Thrall burn, and no that's not an idea for you, do not do that!) NOW you tell us that you don't want us to use our favourite weapons for 10 years, AFTER you gave us the means to bring up our old gear. Shouldn't that be our choice? Shouldn't YOU as game designers, design better weapons or experiences that merit the use of other/newer gear? O right, you don't know how... if HoW weapons are any indication... Make up your mind, either you want us to use our gear or not. Frankly I'm more ticked off that the systems keep changing, i mean, i like change, but I'm sick of just getting something only to have it taken away not even a month later. I honestly would be fine using Fatebringer or Vision of Confluence for the entirety of Destiny, those are brilliantly designed weapons that are FUN to use. You have too little content to merit this kind of move, our weapons should only become obsolete come Destiny 2 down the road because only at that point would it have reached an acceptable amount of content to merit all of your idiotic design choices.
-
Why not make the weapons match your level cap? Then no need to ascend or get rid of anything? As it sits thats basically how its working anyways
-
I was doing to buy ttk couple of months down the track aftrr some reviews, the reason i didn't won't to completely wipe destiny is because of the griding hours i have put in. This makes it even easy now.
-
All I care about are my exotics. Am I kinda bummed about fatebringer and vision of confluence....Yes. But I'm also excited about all the new weapons that will replace it.

11 RespuestasThen quit? Boo fûcking hoo, less whiners to deal with. What ever will I do.
-
2 RespuestasI'm not necessarily quitting but certainly not buying. This just adds to the stack of reasons not to buy if it is certain.
-
Had already quit after nerf 2.0 but this was already predicted and hinted at so not surprised at all. If your sick of this bs join me in the mass exodus cause its about time we recognised this game is -blam!-ed!
-
Who's Quiting
I think fatebringer is over rated before we even go there I'll miss my red hand more... im mad about armour though I'll miss the deathsinger warlock gear
-
I don't give a -blam!-, they can't stop me. Fatebringer always.

Editado por Legend of Jordy: 8/5/2015 2:15:09 AMIt's fine, I'm still using it in Crucible. They are still Legendaries. Plus they will probably add Transmog. No point of letting weapon and armor models go to complete waste.
-
Editado por bigben108: 8/5/2015 2:11:26 AMI will never delete my gear from the Vault of Glass, or a couple other favorites. That being said, I'm kinda looking forwards to some new weapons.

Editado por ReachAndromeda: 8/5/2015 1:26:17 AMTotally cool with it. Progression is key indeed.

Not me. Progression is key.

3 RespuestasDestiny was good in the beginning, was a struggle to get elemental primary's and hard to get the best gear. House of wolves and etheric light made everything too easy. People are getting to 34 with elemental primarys in no time and I saw people going from 32 to 34 in 2 days of release. It gave no reason to play anymore as everything had been completed. People need to stop thinking of this as an expansion and as a new game instead. Fresh start, new weapons, new gear and no ascension. It puts a bit more life in the game, yes we may lose older weapons but we're gonna have a lot more to try out.

Oh no. Old gear becoming old. How can we cope?......oh. hang on a minute. It's meant to

39 RespuestasAll of you saying you're quitting have obviously never played an mmo... they all do this. If you are quitting bc you can't use the same old overpowered gun that you've been using since vanilla, then we don't want you in our community anyway. Bye bye
-
18 RespuestasI'm not. I didn't quit Mass Effect when my gear didn't come with me from game to game. I didn't quit Halo when they took out dual-wielding (or the CE Pistol) or my sexy Rogue helmet from Halo 3. I didn't quit getting iPhones (for whatever reason) when they came out with the 5 months after I'd just gotten my 4. Dropping Destiny because you can't take the gear you've been using since day one with you is one of the shallower reasons to quit. Leave because the story isn't engaging. Leave because you're tired of the PvE activities. Leave because the PvP isn't your cup of tea, and that's all that you're here for. Leave for plenty of reasons, but don't just leave because some of the gear is becoming obsolete.

Cool! More time for other games!
