61% of players/forum users are 13-22 years old
I posted a poll asking y'all your age in blocks of 5 years. My theory in posting the poll was to find out where all the hate, nerf and OP weapons/armor posts were coming from.
38/39% of the people who clicked are in the 13-17 age group, while 22% were in the 18-22 age group. With the 13-17 group is nearly double that of the 18-22 group we can clearly see were all the hate, nerf this and that etc... comes from!
Does this surprise anyone here?
I'm thankful for all the posts! None of the replies were hateful or full of vitriol and that makes me happy. Maybe we can build on that and try and make these forums which I read every day a little better.
I know there are people in each age group who don't fna the fires and scream nerf here.
I had a theory and of course it doesn't mean that the 13-22 age groups are the main problem but you can't deny that that age gap is biggest users of these forums by far.
Yes the game is T for teen so teens are going to play.

I'm 16 years old, some people it doesn't matter honestly. When I was 11 I started growing facial hair, and at 13-14 I started styling it thanks to the nearby barbers. Got a girlfriend of 3 years as of tomorrow, and I'm in a vocational school. Getting a internship really soon through school, looking at a job that's gonna pay at least 12.50$ an hour. In reality it depends on the person and how someone is grown up.

These forums suck because I did a poll that found out that 99.66% of forumites are younger than 75. I understand people under 75 will play this game, but they shouldn't be allowed on the forums.

I had a game with a couple of guys who spent the entire time talking about sex or joking about sex or making innuendos about sex based on whatever was happening in the game. What was fun was in listening to it you could tell that they hadn't been laid based on some assumptions they made about how anatomy worked. By that point in development you can't tell based on voice sounds if they're adult or not, but based on subject you can peg the age at 16-19 years old. But most of the folks (80%+) that I meet on LFG sites are adults. Or at least late teenagers that act mature.

I'd posted a response the other day about the multitude of shotgun users in Iron Banner this go around and that I can't wait for the coming nerf because it's sucked the fun out of Crucible for me. I get this "looked at your stats and could destroy you" response. Then something about "What kind of father are you?" after I said my son also plays on my account occasionally. This younger age group in general has no pride any more. No self worth or self respect. I'm VERY involved in my son's life and online activities. Not to pry, but to try and set an example. If you are in this younger group playing this game and posting on these forums and you don't fit the typical disrespectful squeaker persona then please start setting the example. How you present yourself online is a reflection of who you are in real life.

I don't think your numbers are quite right but anyways I think it's more of the want to be try hards that get everything nerfed cuz if they can't beat it then the only thing to say about it is that it's op. I see it a lot on here if people would just have fun then the game would be way better and the developers would eventually make the changes to the weapons as time went on cuz they know how all of the guns and subclasses are supposed to work

I'm not a squeaker but you can tell I'm not an adult. And so I don't speak and just play and people still blame everything on me and call me immature, even though I'm not speaking.
