You guys are overhyping Hardlight
I have no idea why everyone is saying Hardlight will be so good and whatnot. It'll only be decent.
-It's stability got buffed which is nice but it's recoil pattern is still so weird that you will still miss many medium range shots due to it.
- increased bounce count..... Ok, it's not like the bounce rounds hit anything anyways.
- Projectiles don't have damage fall off. If you really think this means all bullets have no damage fall off you are retarded. It obviously is referring to the rounds that bounce and the falloff stops when they bounce. This literally means absolutely nothing as bounce shots don't hit anyways.
And it's still a peashooter. If you really think the auto buff will make peashooters good you are wrong. They were horrible pre nerf and will continue to be horrible.
It'll be a decent exotic at best.

I agree. People seem to be 100% sure that Bungie are going to make 1 weapon which is unaffected by damage drop off with all its bullets... that just doesnt make sense, in saying that nothing is set in stone.

If you use an auto rifle, use necrocasm. Get used to it when it is a peashooter and you will preform when its buffed.

2 RespuestasI agree. When I read the update I immediately interpreted it as the ricochet rounds being the ones with no damage fall off. No idea why people thought they meant all bullets fired have zero distance fall off. In an update all around weapon "balance" that would have just been ridiculous.

It's still a decent gun regardless of bounce rounds. If I can roll it in crucible now, a buff will only make it better.

Overhyped. Probably. But it will be pretty good in CQC. It'll be a bit more like the needler in halo except bouncy and blue.
