What is the point of having 2+ of the same Exotic Weapon?
Why have 2 Ghorns or 2 P&T?
It makes sense if they were rerollable or they gave different stats like the Armor will sometimes give better Disp or Int than current Armor of same kind. But whats the point of two of the same exotics guns.
Some guy said he had 3 Thorns. Why would you go thru that bounty 3 times.
Another example is of a player who posted for more Vault space... But he had 2 TLW and 3 Hawkmoons. Why?

Before you lucky bastards got the mobile vault there was something called changing characters and ping to the vault

So each character can have one. I dont see why somebody would have more than 3 but 3 makes sence.

Well Suros Regime has focus fire which can't be turned off after you unlock it

I've got... 3 vex 3 p & t 3 ice breaker 3 gjallarhorn 3 thunderlord 3 truth So 1 on each character no need for swopping, no hold on just got to get this gun off of my etc 😉

Because transferring guns between characters is a pain in the ass. Even with the ability to do it via app/computer

Because it takes time to move shit about. Easier just to have one on each. Now, you will complain about complainers of vault space, well here is the problem. There are a lot of guns that I am yet to properly test, my vault is full of these and exotics I haven't upgraded, I have found a few good PvP weapons from fiddling with other guns and rolls (before this 're-roll shit came in) I have 3 ghorns, 3 icebreakers, 2 suros (one upgraded one not ) and a assortment of other exotics and legendaries that I am carrying.

1. I go through all exotic bounties i get (47 exotic shards now) 2. I have 3 of my most used exotics and legendaries so that i dont need to switch it up djring raids etc.

I have two gallys. One upgraded, one not. I don't keep duplicates of exotics, but I can't bring myself to delete my second gally. I just can't.

One for each character maybe?

if I get 2 more gallys ill definitely keep on on each character, one less thing to switch over

Well I have a gjallarhorn for each character. That's the only exotic I have kept 3 for (saves the transfer).

i have two gjallarhorns. i still need one for my warlock. hoping to get it later in nightfall.

Was going to max my other exotics, then realized I have the app so now I have some extra shards

2 RespuestasI could see the benefits of that as you wouldn't need to switch out your Gjallahorn or Thorn between characters. I don't do it though as I don't have room for that many exotics

There is no real reason unless you don't have a smart phone. I use the pack mule app and it let's you equip any gun to any character with 2 taps on your phone. But like I said, it would come in handy if you have a flip phone.

My vault is full , I'm not going to switch in and out 6 diffrent weapons to transfer Between characters every time I feel like using diffrent weapons, How stupid would that be. If I'm out doing bounties and I'm on X class I just switch to the gun I want . I don't have to exit game, load in character X , go to tower swap in and out weapons, exit game , load character X back in, go to tower, switch weapons around , go to orbit, go back to doing bounties. But wait, now I want to use these guns on my third character so repeat all of the above,,,,

Typically for multiple characters, but even then I only keep the ones I know for a fact that I'm gonna use. I have 3 Gjallarhorns and I'm working on getting my second thorn right now

Think of it like a trophy case I have 6 Hawkmoons and 5 truths I show them off but no one gives a crap
