Should The Lighthouse Be Available Without Going Flawless? (Poll)
The Lighthouse is a great reward indeed, but it is a reward that is available to only 10% of the player base. After giving it some thought, I've concluded that in order to raise the amount of players that go to the Lighthouse, they shouldn't require to go flawless.
A flawless 9-0 passage is almost impossible. In order to get such a passage, you must be lucky and not run into any complete 365's with thorn or lag switchers.

[b]Edit[/b]: You get nothing for going 9-1. What's the point of finishing your passage if you are 8-1?
[b]Edit 2[/b]: The most popular solution in this thread is to give players access to the Lighthouse whenever they go 9-1 or 9-2, but you will need a key to access the chest in the Lighthouse, which is only acquired by going flawless. This way players can explore the area and acquire the grimoire without the hassle of getting a 9-0 passage.

So you only need to win 7 matches, and can lose 1 without any consequence. So think of it as you can go 7-1. That's not too hard is it? They should keep it the way it is, no need to make it any easier.

I don't think the format should change at all. I do believe it will be more enjoyable after the weapons patch. I did all three of my flawless runs this weekend with a red death and it was significantly harder than using thorn. But it was also very rewarding. When the patch comes out, more people will have an opportunity to go flawless because of the lack of Thorn period

Go 7-1! So easy! Get a good team with communication and you'll be fine. I've gone 2+ times each week.

Been there 5 times and I think it should be open forever on that character after the first time but you only get a key for the chest of you go flawless again. It's not a true social area of it disappears every week. It needs to be turned into a true social hub

Lol) I have a compromise: Only those who go flawless get the rewards and such from the lighthouse and all that jazz, but if you only manage to win 9 times but don't go flawless then you get a different, less impressive looking, cut scene where you merely [u]see[/u] the lighthouse, that way nobody complains about not getting the Grimoure card and nobody complains about [i]"You dang kids messin' around on my lighthouse! Get off of ma property!"[/i]. This way everybody gets a cutscene, because let's get real here, EVERYBODY was screwed out of any story whatsoever and any dialogue cutscenes that might shed some light on what the f*ck kind of story destiny is supposed to even have, so any cutscene is a good cutscene here, if you disagree that not everyone deserves a cutscene every now and then because you want to be a [i]special wittle snowfwake![/i] well I hope you enjoyed your life pre-getting stabbed by me.

Why do you still do trials? If you have everything then what's the point? Edit: some people took this the wrong way. Ok not trying to say that people deserve going to the lighthouse. I'm just wondering why groups continue to purposely try to stop other people from going flawless once they've gotten everything. I understand the game mode is fun and that the elimination crucible type is barely around. I was just asking a question. Not trying to be rude to anyone. This also doesn't affect me since I don't have the dlc. It's just a general question. I also voted no on the poll before you say anything like that.

Never gone flawless or achieved 9 wins, I still think it should be exclusive to 9-0 players. It makes it a greater reward in my opinion.
