Should The Lighthouse Be Available Without Going Flawless? (Poll)
The Lighthouse is a great reward indeed, but it is a reward that is available to only 10% of the player base. After giving it some thought, I've concluded that in order to raise the amount of players that go to the Lighthouse, they shouldn't require to go flawless.
A flawless 9-0 passage is almost impossible. In order to get such a passage, you must be lucky and not run into any complete 365's with thorn or lag switchers.

[b]Edit[/b]: You get nothing for going 9-1. What's the point of finishing your passage if you are 8-1?
[b]Edit 2[/b]: The most popular solution in this thread is to give players access to the Lighthouse whenever they go 9-1 or 9-2, but you will need a key to access the chest in the Lighthouse, which is only acquired by going flawless. This way players can explore the area and acquire the grimoire without the hassle of getting a 9-0 passage.

37 RespuestasI am fine with the Lighthouse being for good PvP players but what I'm not okay with is locking part of the story behind a flawless run. The whole story is in the Grimoire but two of the cards you have to get a 9-0 and go to the Lighthouse to unlock.

Never been flawless but no, i may only go flawless once in 10 years but i want it to feel earnt and special. And when i go 8-1/2 i finish my card, that last game is hide and seek! Free win for someone who needs it

Personally I think they need to drop it to 8. 25% should be able to get there. I would think right now it's less than 15%

I say 9 wins period...nothing past 9-2 since the third loss resets the card.

Once you go and explore a little you realize there isn't anything there. A room down below with a couple skeletons, a couple walls to keep you out, and a chest with loot. You're gonna be disappointed. Judging by TTK trailer it looks like that's where the Titan will be getting his new subclass so you'll be able to go.

9-0 or at worst 9-1 I reckon should be allowable. I say 9-1 to allow for lost connections, lag switchers etc. if we had no excuse, aka, solid servers to play from then no, 9-0 would be the only acceptable result for lighthouse. I had the situation the other day, I was kicked from game at 5-0, when we were 3-0 up to go 6-0, relogged back in finally to find a loss on my passage and my boon still there... Pointless really.

Yes because anyone can beat a raid and get weapons pvp is impossible for me I can't do it to much lag and bullshit

You should be able to go there but not open the chest. After going 9-0 you go to brother Vance, and he gives you a key. You go to the lighthouse and open the chest.

I've done it 3 times AT LEAST every week. I don't see the problem. I even challenged my team with a NLB only flawless and we did it. It just takes teamwork. It's not "impossible"

Even though I'm never gonna get to the lighthouse, if you made it you deserve it, or got carried. Plus you should get something for being Flawless. The way ToO was made made it happen.

I think making it to 9 wins on one card should suffice; otherwise, I don't see the point in going passed 8 wins. I don't play Trials either way, but I do think people that make it to 9 should go to the Lighthouse. But I doubt people will be on board with that

4 RespuestasThere are things in this game that are supposed to be challenging. The Vault was a challenge when all we had were blue weapons. CE hard mode was also a challenge. Did you jump into a 35 prison with your newly leveled 33 and non-ascended guns to then realize it was fcking challenging. Not every in this game is going to stand in place so you can shoot at it from behind cover. I think Bungie's addition of Trials was the greatest improvement to this game. It rewards those who have a majority of their hours put into the crucible, not strikes or raids, where there are ways to cheat the system. To have succeeded in accomplishing every aspect of the game, you have to have diversity in your activities and, when it comes down to it, skill. Bungie should not hand out the reward of going to the Lighthouse. I understand feeling the pain of running into three tryhard thorn-users. I feel that when Thorn is nerfed, more people will get to go to the Lighthouse. Even if you don't then, you aren't missing out on much. One etheric light? Those weapons are still available through Brother Vance. Please don't beg for Trials to be changed because people can't go flawless. It will turn into the same situation of people complaining about Gjallarhorn's power just because they don't have one. Good luck in the future, but don't ask for an easier way to do something.

I don't even PvP in Destiny and I don't think it should. It's one of the few things ylu can actually ear n in Destiny, sounds good to me.
