Thorn, Bad Juju, or Invective?
Which weapon do you find the most useful in both PVP and PVE?

Invective is a beast in PoE. Thorn rules PvP. Bad Juju is decent for PvE. But, PoE is pointless and Thorn is getting nerfed. Bad Juju.

1 RespuestaThorn is a dirty dirty weapon. However, I like the lore, and I like the weapon itself. Handles well, has power, and makes many Guardians salty. Lacks a burn but DoT kind of compensates. Bad JuJu. A personal favourite. Again, I like the lore, and it has it's uses. Takes a skilled hand to be properly effective against anything more than a mob. Expect to be lord of the assist. Sadly, lacks a burn. Invective. I use Invective specifically as a Cabal killer. Solar shield you say? Prepare to be lacerated. Useful to have handy if you don't have Icebreaker, for free ammo.

Thorn is just good in PvP, very mediocre in PvE. I've been using Invective a LOT since HoW came out. Especially in 35 specialist/juggler or just any specialist modifier. Great in PvE, but very mediocre in PvP without amazing impact or shotpackage/rangefinder.

Have all 3 and don't play pvp. Invective is a full auto beast, and juju combined with ob mind is awesome. Thorn Is good, but don't use it much.

Invective is great for pve, especially Poe. It regents ammo, fires quickly, and has the highest dps of any gun.

thorn. it was my first exotic, and was the turning point from being lost to being able to handle myself. as a pve player, the DoT helps balance the odds against 'pvp gods' in pvp. curently comparing it to my mythoclast, but switch back to thorn if the going gets bad.

I can only speak for pve as I don't like pvp but the weapon that got me out of a tough situation more than once is the invective I like a lot ;).

Currently: Bad Juju After the changes proposed by patch 2.0. Bad Juju or Thorn. Thorn dominates in PvP right now....but is of limited usefulness in PvE. Bad Juju is a top pulse rifle in PvP right now AND is a very solid PvE weapon. The changes in patch 2.0 will likely end Thorn's reign of terror in PvP....but the ability to STACK your DoT, will increase its PvE effectiveness...and nearly double the damage DoT does to powerful targets. Invective is a solid shotgun, but is outclassed entirely in PvP....and Found Verdict does more burst damage than Invective and Lord of Wolves does more sustained damage than it does.
