Gally isn't happening
So, not that I'm anymore special than anyone else BUT I do wanna state that I've been playing this game since it launched (Day One)... I have over 1400 hours put into this game and STILL haven't acquired ONE gally... normally that wouldn't be a big deal and normally I wouldn't say anything (cause I understand the concept of RNG)...
However, the group of guys I play with on a regular basis all have at least 2-3 gallys... one guy we just started playing with had 2 gallys drop for him in the SAME Crota Raid!! It's not like he had one drop in one event and then got another in another event... he got 2 in the same event!! Yet it still hasn't happened for me (or anyone else that doesn't have one)?
Some RNG that allows 2 to drop in the same event... I mean congrats to the guy but that to me is just flat out BS...
I've done Strike lists, 6 Raids per week, 3 nightfalls, etc etc... and the thing won't drop... we did all 6 raids tonight (2 for each character)... some random guy we picked up had it drop for him... what did I get? Not a gally, that's for sure.
I debated about whether to put this up... but screw it... I don't see how this is possible... RNG or not... don't see how it's even remotely "fair" that 2 gallys drop in the same raid, yet someone else that has over 1400 hrs in STILL doesn't have 1...
EDIT: I've placed a screenshot of my Xbox One console screen to show how many hours I've logged in playing Destiny as several people have looked up my gamertag on website trackers. Online trackers only track current characters... not characters that have been deleted. Thanks guys. :)

1 RespuestaThe Bungie dev said in the interview that the reason they want to nerf G'horn is because they didn't intend for it to be a disqualifier for people to get invited to group activity. Well, jeez, no brainer, if that's your concern, sell it on Xur like you do every other non-Raid weapon (Raid = Word, Fang, etc.) Selling G'horn periodically would absolutely eradicate Bungie's concern without lobotomizing the unique abilities G'horn brings to content to provide other unique ways to get things done. G'horn is unique, just like Ice Breaker and others are unique. Don't lobotomize dimensions of gameplay when uniqueness can be preserved. Don't turn G'horn into just another Hunger of Crota but with Solar burn.

3 RespuestasMy "friend" said he wouldn't do skolas with me because I didn't have a gally (note:after burns and they cut half his health) he was being a total b**** and I got two other people one had a gally and didn't use it the entire time and we beat it so yeah he was a jerk

The RNG system is a lie, bungie new about the gating issue for a long time and could've solved it by simply selling the G-horn at xur but held on to it to keep people playing. They are only nerfing it (and ice breaker/black hammer) to slow down PVE progress for players who have these items, thereby making the ENDLESS GRIND even worse than it already is, and i personally feel that if Bungie doesn't reverse this decision about these 3 items immediately that veteran grinders such as myself and all players who care should stop playing until they do. Many of the other changes were needed but these were aimed squarely at making an already tedious and oft times boring experience even more so.

4 RespuestasWell.... There is your problem. You're doing 6 raids a week. When it should be 12. I was doing 6 raids a week ( meaning only doing them on hard with every character) and one week one of my friends asked why I didn't do them on normal then hard to increase my chances. I said idk I'll try it. And BOOM. It dropped after doing Crota normal and I've been playing this since launch. Also saw one drop yesterday on crota normal. I've never seen one drop from nf and only once during a raid on hard. So give it a try and promise it'll drop within a month or two.

It's alright. Everyone has that one weapon they can't get. For me it's the Monte Carlo. Just keep the grind on man. Be happy you have something to play for.
