Edit 4: Thanks to some nice folks who showed me the ropes, I've completed everything. Edit 3: So yeah, this was a case of misguided or over-hyped expectations. It initially sounded like we were getting some fan appreciation trinket of an emblem but it was more of "Do everything in the game" / "Test your might!" sort of deal. The player appreciation package is arriving when you buy The Taken King when you play it and have hit level 30 or bought the 2 previous DLCs. Although this doesn't change the fact that I still suck at the hard mode stuff on my own. :P Some nice people have offered help. Glad to see not everyone here on Bnet is rude. Have a nice day, everyone! Old: I'm super disappointed in this. My team struggles with the 32 and 34 Prison of Elders at times. How the hell are we supposed to beat Crota, Atheon AND Skolas on hard mode in just 2 months?! On top of that, it's rare that we can even all game together at the same time. Some of us work weekdays and the rest are busy on the weekends half the time. We just beat the Vault of Glass for the first time on regular just last month. This should just have been an emblem given to people who have played since the beginning or during the initial first year. I'm severely disappointed in Bungie right now. :( Edit: I'm on Xbox One Edit 2: So yeah, I'm glad I'm still getting the year 1 appreciation package with The Taken King, but that package should have been what was given out today, not with the DLC. If the Moments of Triumph was available ALONGSIDE the year 1 package with the emblem, shader and emotes, I wouldn't have been disappointed. Truth be told, the idea of the Moments of Triumph emblem sounds sweet! I know I probably won't get it because I'm not a veteran raider, and not particularly good at the tough challenges. I think a lot of people were just expecting a year 1 appreciation reward today.
