Trials of Orisis is supposed to be a culmination of players being able to do well in pvp. That was the original concept. It got turned into an MLG spectacle of corrupt players manhandling everyone else because they got buffs from Activison while everyone else who wants to do the trials gets 0-3. I do not think there is any solution other than removing the trials until a later date and to make sure that you can only use non-exotic armor and non-exotic weapons. Also, there are alot of cheaters and lag switchers making sure that 9-0 is always there for them and to get into the lighthouse. Here's the real solution that will make trials fair for everyone once it comes back.
1)make sure everyone who has done the trials goes to the lighthouse.
2)force matchups to be based on the level of the characters the players is using.
3)you cannot try again for the week ONCE YOU RECEIVE PRIZES FROM THE TRIALS
4)If you are caught cheating, you will be IP banned from Destiny, all of your gear on your characters and vaults will be deleted permanently.
5)If you try to create a 4th character to do Trials within the same week, you can't do it.
6)make the fireteam 1-6 instead of 3 players only.

My suggestions for a better Trials: - Flawless/A full card shouldn't grant a new card. If you've gone flawless, a new card should cost 5000 glimmer instead of 100. - If one/two/three members of the fireteam has/have gone flawless in this weeks Trials, they should only be matched with a team that also has one/two/three flawless players. - If a hit is registered but the enemy doesn't lose any energy more than 3 times in a single game, he should be booted right away to prevent lagswitching. - The Buffs should work if you get a disconnect. - No Heavy ammo. It's just plain stupid.

Cool story bro, needs more dragons and shit though x
-
3 RespuestasHahaha I dismantle adept weapons each week, your peasant tears taste delicious.

1 Respuesta1) No 2) No 3) No 4) Sure 5) No 6) No

They'll change it once they realize its not really competitive. They hopefully will match teams against other teams with similar skill levels.
-
no just no....that is all ...it's for people like me to earn ...not everybody who plays should be able to get in without 9 and 0
-
1 RespuestaGet gud. Not bungies fault you suck at crucible
-
-blam!- you trash

Shut up Meg.

Editado por Qadri13: 7/6/2015 11:51:47 PMHell no. Participation =/= Reward You're an idiot to think like that.

1 RespuestaI don't entirely agree, but I do to some extent. What you need to realize, is that Bungle is in this as a business. How can they keep you playing between expansions? PvP. They know their PvE leave MUCH to be desired and it lacks content. What is the answer... Pack a PvP mode with the best rewards, make them semi-exclusive and keep people hanging on to the game as long as possible ensuring (or hoping to) you buy the next expansion. No one plays CoD for a year until the next one comes out (or black ops 2 for three years) for the story. It's the PvP that keeps you playing and keeps money flowing from your wallet. That's why they do it the way they do. They will be er deliver the experience they promised you before launch. It would cost them too much of your money.

1 RespuestaI faced a team that use the cheapest method to win: It was 4-2 (I was winning) They just sat on the capture point from the beginning of the match and each of them popped titan bubbles until they won the match by capturing the point. With all of them sitting there with shotguns, there was noting we could do.

I agree with the cheaters and stuff, but I don't mean to be a dick trials is for everyone anyone can play trials it's just not everybody can play well enough or have good enough luck to get to the light house and it should stay that way, diversity and lust for loot is what drives games like destiny and to make everything us flawless players have done go to waste because every Tom Tom Tom in our village can pick up a 9-0 and go to the light house, I do believe the lag switchers should be permanently banned not just from destiny but from existence. Troll away you beautiful creatures

The only thing that is unfair about the trials is the spawns. The spawns on some maps can literally determine the outcome of a match. If at the end of every round the spawns were flipped, it would be a lot more even for both teams.
-
What about the piss poor connection lol it be fine if I had a fighting chance, but it's impossible with the lag.
-
Went to lighthouse last 3 weekends in a row. My k/d sucks but im good in the clutch, a team player and work for revives, callouts and to tag guys with thorn. We had a ton of close calls but came out winners, what's your excuse?
-
1 RespuestaI just wish that I played well enough to get to the lighthouse. I'm a half decent player (IMO) so I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. Guess I'll just have to keep trying week after week.

#satire ... If you're serious then.... Git gud scrub
-
15 RespuestasUhh Look dude, I understand, your frustrated. Understandable.. HOWEVER - you are what is considered a "scrub" at Pvp, and your stats don't lie. Shit, you don't even have a 34, let alone a 3rd character. Your not a hardcore player.. Trials is meant to show who are the advanced, seasoned Pvp vets are. Sorry your on the other side of this but you simply need to go AT LEAST 1.00 k/d and be a competitive player --WHINER squashed--

Shut up, meg

Shuttle -blam!- up meg

Trials is one of the only fun things left in destiny PoE is a car crash of boredom and no rewards I've played the raids to death Trials should rotate spawn points It's meant to be top tier Pvp. I get your point on legendary only weps but still on a top tier playlist you should be able to use top tier weps. I've been flawless a few times I'm not a try hard or a sweaty. It's just practice and the best test of teamwork in the game
-
The fact that teams don't switch sides every round blows my mind. That said, why on earth shouldn't I be able to help my friend through trials after I've already done it?
-
Fact, there are more sore losers then there are cheaters. Trials is fine just get a couple of good players form regular crucible games maybe send a friend request and then play some games together. Most of the people I have made friends with lately have been players that entered fire team chat at the beginning of a match. Fact is good players like to have an advantage and the best advantage is solid communication. Also don't be afraid to send out a positive message to a really good player they may actually be shocked to not get a message accusing them of cheating, and will more then likely turn out to be a good game buddy.
-
Here is your participation cookie O
-
Cheating is barely their, there are actually very few cheaters, sore losers always just say they lost to lag switchers when they just suck. I do think legendaries only would be a blast. Second maybe allow the blue packages as a participation prize, but the lighthouse is the reward for being good, and it should stay that way. Lastly trials is end game content, so lvl shouldn't matter, if you go in under 34 it should be assumed you will be under leveled every match.
