Reforging rage and disappointment.

Going to cut to the chase. Last night I spent 30 minutes. 600 weapon parts and 200 motes trying to get a Fusion Rifle that was Void and had accelerated coils. It did not happen and I ran out of parts. To put it mildly I am extremely pissed off. To be clear; I checked every single time and it never happened. I get the random nature of it, but if I use all my materials one ONE damn weapon WTF is the point? How long did it take me to get those 200 motes and 600 weapon parts? Months. All gone within a half an hour. I am done with reforging. I am sticking with my TDB weapons (which are usually superior anyway) until the system changes. Those and exotics and I should be able to do what I need to do. If I need something for a certain situation I'll do it the hard way. Suggestions on improving reforging; -First idea-The ability to LOCK certain aspects of a weapon before reforging. Example; You have a fire MG with the perks you want, but you need a void version. You can lock the perks and reforge it to change the element. Too easy? Charge more for that service (5-10 mote, 30-50 parts, 5-10k glimmer or whatever). OR let the player lock the element of the weapon and roll until they get the perks they want. -Second idea- Add another service that combines weapons. Example; you have a void sniper with crap perks. You have a fire sniper with the perks you want on the void version. Combine the void sniper and the fire sniper to create the void sniper with the perks from the original fire version. (A preview would be necessary, because people are stupid and will do it backwards). Charge whatever you want for that service. I just want the guns I want/need without wanting to quit playing the game. Also, get rid of the useless perks on weapons. You added so many that are complete shit and took away some that were amazing. What the hell are you thinking? I'm honestly considering putting Destiny away until TTK because of this nonsense. It pissed me off that much. I asked myself why I am still playing as well. I finished the "story" of House of Wolves. I am a solo player so I am not allowed to do PoE or ToO. All I do is chase the Playstation exclusive weapons. Other than that, I do the same crap every day. I ask myself "why?" a lot. I do not have an answer. Thinking on how the first expansion has treated solo players and had absolutely no story I am considering not even getting TTK and playing games that are not repetitive. God knows I have a huge backlog of them because Destiny has taken up so much of my time. I mean, for christ's sake. I am playing a mobile game on my tablet that has a more compelling story than Destiny. All it is is essentially cards moving around a battlefield. At least it has a story. That's what I'm after. That's what Halo had. Why the HELL doesn't Destiny? Destiny is just a damn shooter. You login, shoot stuff for X amount of time, and log out. I want some story! Bungie! You've lost your way and I am disgusted. This game is Call of Duty without a campaign. You know your story is shit when all the yearly games have better story telling than you. It's pathetic, Bungie. Call someone who knows how to write a story. For the people who don't care about story and just want to shoot aliens just make cut scenes skippable. Speaking of which, how much of our lives been wasted listening to Dinklebot say the same shit every day? I'm scary to even imagine. Just here to vent and look for other horror stories. Also hoping that Bungie sees this. I know they won't, but damnit hoping is all I can do. Destiny was great at the beginning. I can't even fathom why I am still playing it. I truly enjoy it, but how many times can I do the same thing. It lasts about a month after each DLC then I punch out. Le sigh.
