Scrubtactular - Confessions of what we suck at
So I was recently engaged in an enjoyable conversation with someone where we were challenging each other with who sucks more at using shotguns in PvP (for the record - I won).
That got me thinking - who else is comfortable enough to share what they suck at?
I'll start - if you die to me in the Crucible from a shotgun, you should wipe your bottom with Ebola infected sandpaper - I am trash with a shotgun. I have a greater chance of sleeping with a girl called "Bruce" than I do scoring a shotgun kill.
[spoiler]what's that....? Bruce is now a legitimate name for a girl? Really?! When did this happen..? Uh huh.... But we gave them Jamie and Ashley, you couldn't cut a deal...? Alex?! They took Alex too!!! Goddammit Bruce.[/spoiler]

Our self non-help group could really take off!
Bungie sucks at making us throw money at our screens. HELLO, BUNGIE.... it's 2015 - we use credit cards and ATM cards now (no one carries cash)... Where do I swipe?
So some recent trends in what we suck at are:
1. Blink
2. Sniping
3. Shotguns
4. Thorn (wooooo Nelly - how does this work. We all see posts crying "wah Thorn is OP and hurts my feelings, please Nerf" but a great many of us are saying we can't use it well. Interesting...

I would argue that 50% of the time I want to use Gjallarhorn, there is a small thrall or a small dreg or whatever directly next to me and the rocket blows up in my face. I have killed myself more with Gjallarhorn than any other rocket launcher. Also Sparrows are death traps for me. Usually I just speed off the map because I cant brake fast enough. Sparrow through a crowded area, hit a small edge or a small stone, sparrow stops immediately, one billion tiny lvl 5 enemies start shooting at you at the same time, dead in seconds. Worst offender: After the Devil Walker in the the Devils Lair.

Titan melee, 20% hits 80% misses (except PvE). Even screwing around with my crew I can't run up while the man is standing perfectly still and land one. It's insanity, yet hunter/warlock I can beast with the melee. So to adjust I upped my titans intellect and discipline, the hell with strength. I use my armor perks to gain super juice and grenades (I get them rapidly) help a lot. I super 3-5 times a game unless someone is making orbs regularly, then it could be as high as 6-7.

There's plenty but my number 1 is flashbangs. How many times am I going to bounce it off the wall and blind myself? I just stopped using them because I do it all the time.

I am terrible at staying on the map. Usually I jump, land funny, and get flung to god knows where. Then there's the trip mine grenades... I can't even tell you how many times I've suicided from a damn trip mine grenade that I put in a tactically sound location, then forgot it existed, then walked in front of it at the exact second it explodes. It's the little things that get me.

I once tried sniping a lvl 16 on the other side of the map on Pantheon I proceeded to empty the magazine missed pretty much every shot and got gunned down....I don't try to snipe anymore

Hello all my name is Rob and I'm an alcoholic. While also impacting my marriage, this cause me to have 2-4 awesome pvp games, than I start seeing double and my KDR get to about .6. Not to mention doing stuff like Arc Blading Skolas or any other boss, while they have full health. This is my problem and currently I have no desire to change cause -blam!- you, that's why.

Editado por Altron: 7/4/2015 12:04:03 AMI suck sometimes using blink and a shotgun. My ps4 controller is reaching the end of its rope. The r2 trigger is falling off slightly (still works at least) and the right analog stick has a spot that is unresponsive at times. So if I suddenly have to make a quick turn to the right, I might end up spinning in a full circle to the left because the sensor is all buggy. Im not the kinda guy that slams his controllers around, but ps4 controllers love to slide right out of your lap xD I still play just fine sometimes, but other times my controller acts like it has a mind of its own, it makes my character spin around at random and even refuses to let me reload sometimes. Can't wait to get a new controller here soon and be able to try harder at crucible. xD

It's like every game of crucible I randomly get two things to suck at, maybe one game it's sniping (typically I'm and above averaged sniper) and grenades (you know those games where you just hit every doorway or random rock on the map?) and the next game I can't blink for shit and my super gets so stale I could have used 3 by that point but I am on fire with a pulse rifle

Started life as a Titan. Adapted reasonably well to Hunter. But I don't think I'll ever get used to trying to get a Warlock jump to go up instead of out. I run straight into what I'm trying to boost over all the time.

PVP in general, but aiming while I move, specifically. I have a really bad habit of stopping and shooting, cause when I try and move around while shooting, I miss. I'm actually just really bad at aiming. The amount if times I have died because I was shooting [i]next[/i] to the opponents head is shameful. Just downright shameful.

I am mediocre at pve which is all I played until I sat down and got gud at pvp
