My Gjallarhorn Suggestion. Please give some feedback
Many people are of the opinion that Xur should not sell Gjallarhorn because it is such a great weapon and selling it at a typical Xur weapon price would diminish its value. Here's my suggestion. Why not sell Gally but when it becomes available make the price EXTREMELY expensive. Perhaps a combo of ascendants, strange coins, and motes of light. Or make it 80 or 90 strange coins. Good idea or naw?

2 RespuestasOk i understand only too well what it's like to want this thing, i got one few weeks ago after a long time waiting, before i got it i would always silently nod in agreement to this type of thread, heck i prob written posts on some supporting idea, the problem now though is different, or perhaps the shoes on the ither foot, can't say.. way i see it now is the amount of time i hunted this thing only to Not get it, while watching others get 2nd or even 3rd etc would of been totally Useless IF it now gets put into Xur's loot table.. i get it, been ignored by so called friends cos i never had ghorn, esp when HoW landed and the little 3 man cliques began messing up many a good clan... i wish there was a alternative, perhaps something new that does similar damage?.. selling ghorn now though, even for hundreds of coins/motes would totally defeat the purpose of doing stuff that rewards a excotic, hoping it's going to be ghorn, that most of us did for over 7-8 months, some are Still doing now unfortunately, i doubt it'd matter too much either way for those lucky ones who never had to grind/wait with crossed fingers month after month.. i really hope you get one soon but now i have mine hope it's not through xur, getting it from rng is just too much to not experience is prob what i should tl:dr with?..

Not a bad suggestion..I for one do not own the coveted Gally and I have been playing since day one and you what I still wouldn't buy it even if I could pick it up for the normal amount of strange coins..that weapon should be earned not bought.

Not really bcus I could buy 2 other them right now. It should never be sold or dropped. Something new should come with the new dlc and you would only have afew( 6-8)months to acquire it . Then it becomes the new wish list weapon

4 RespuestasThe reason people want it so bad is because it is so hard to get and it's a good exotic. If you basically handed them out then what fun would that be? I know I have one but still, even before I did I didn't want Xur to sell it, it would lose all of its value

Ghallarhorn should be sold at normal price. And yes, I feel like it should be in rotation. I personally have 2 and I don't think anyone should have to go through what I went through to get it. Hell, some people still don't have it after playing since day 1. Doesn't seem right other OP weapons like red death, ice breaker, last word etc are being sold for a few sleazy vibrating coins. Just sayin.......

Anyone that think gally shouldnt be sold is probably either an idiot manchild or a 10 year old kid that really thinks gjallarhorn is the only option in this game. Sure its a good exotic and does hella damage but there are other great rockets. Xur probably just hasnt sold it because he is rng like everything else.

3 RespuestasThere are players that are only PvP and have gotten Gally and never upgraded it. There are players that got the drop when their grimoire hit max and shot it once. And there are players that only play pve and don't use the weapon. Yes most people have it and has it supposedly broke the game? I think Xur should sell it for one strange coin. It won't make PvP players switch to pve. It won't cause the pve players to use it all the time. The point in having it is to say. Yes, I have it. It's cool. Its one less exotic I'm not searching for.

And to get rid of a myth once and for all, the Ghorn or any other Dropped guns are not "Earned" there won, in a random drop system, the only guns that are earned are bounty guns, Bad JuJu, thorn, those guns. There is no bounty for the Ghorn, and should never be, it wouldn't be fare to people who have it or even those who don't have it to change now, it should be sold for the original price.
