It's time to fight back!
Frankly, as I'm sure many others feel, Bungie is screwing us over. A $40 DLC, with an even pricier collectors edition at $80 which offers many interesting in game exclusives, is the reason I can't play this game anymore.
If anyone else wants this to change I hope you will join me in boycotting this expansion. Bungie believes we will throw them as much money as they ask for just for some new content.
End this trend now and don't buy "The Taken King!"
[b]Edit:[/b] I'm glad to see at least some people have their wits about them and can understand that this type of business does nothing but ruin games in the long run.
[b]Edit 2:[/b] Does anyone think the $20 package with the shaders, class items and emotes makes it worth it? I still think it's overpriced for what we seem to be getting.

1 RespuestaHow Bungie came to that price. $20 for weapons, armor, strikes, raid. Like the 2 previous DLCs The other $20 is for the new subclass that should've been out day one. Here's my opinion, I wouldn't mind paying $40 if the 2 previous DLCs were free. DLCs that were announced before the game came out.... But, that's just my thought on this

2 RespuestasYou aren't going to buy the DLC because you want to prove a worthless point, or you can't afford it. It's price is reasonable for the content. 40 dollars in the U.S. isnt really that much, and I will happily buy the collectors edition. I'll just sit here with my new story, strikes, weapons, armor and raid, and you'll be watching :)

I don't think people mind the $40 for what they're gonna get. They mind that they have to rebuy the content they already have to get the exclusives for buying the collector's edition like the 3 new emotes

I know people who have multiple collectors editions of the same Star Wars movies. I don't remember hearing alot about how Lucas Films was screwing everybody over. Collectors Editions of games have been around since Atari. Get over it already.
