The only reason people don't want the thorn nerfed is because they rely on it.
That thing is ruining my crucible experience with many others. Say what you want about my skill but the truth is that it's overused. Handcannons have the most bs abilities in the game and its ridiculous. Going up against a team of thorns is seriously unmotivating.
500+ posts! I'm shocked and happy for your responses. Keep it up, you know the truth is that the thorn is a cheap kill for crucible. If you disagree you probably use it!!!

Funny, I thought the same thing about shotguns... And I see 10 times the amounts of shotgun running noobs in crucible than thorns.

Kinda like the only reason people don't want Xur to sell Gjallerhorn is because those that have it don't want their advantages over those that don't have it taken away from them...? While yes, it takes a while to get, so does thorn. Why should thorn be nerfed and Xur not sell the best rocket launcher in the game?

All I can say is screw thorn, it's hands down the best exotic, with the exception of maybe hawkmoon or red death in the hands of a skilled player, but thorn is an easy to use, quick to kill hand cannon that unskilled players can use to easily cherry pick kills in crucible. I'm all for the if you can't beat em join em principle but I'd like for there to be more balance among the weapons, and yes, I'm talking specifically about AUTO RIFLES, they are all complete crap right now. All you ever see in ToO are the three previously mentioned exotics. Talk about boring. In an ideal ToO with balanced weapons we'd go into a game with no idea what weapons the other team might use, and it wouldn't matter because the teams would win based on skill, not the time to kill of their weapons

It doesn't really need a nerf you just need to be skilled in fighting it, ever since i got gear to increase my mobility on the battlefield i haven't really had much of a problem ( btw i don't own thorn )

Is because bungie overdoes nerfs and makes the whole class garbage ie auto rifles. We just do not trust them to nerf properly without ruining the gun.

One idea Maybe a slight lower fire rate for the thorn And a autoriffle buff=40%less hand cannons P.s I have the thorn and I love the gun but We need some variety in the crucible,not just Game of Thorns One of my favorite gun is the necrochasm but necrochasm vs thorn.... Mmmmhhhhhh u know .... Don't nerf the thorn just buff the rest Don't hate me ,sorry for bad English

They just need to buff the AR back to what they where before they nerfed them n it should make it better to challenge hand cannons.

Keep asking for nerf like this instead of buffing other weapons and we will always have an OP gun. This is why player feedback that always calls for a nerf without a real solution should never take seriously. You always end up breaking the game.

If they nerfed the exotic hcs, I would go back to using my 1.0 redhand with clown catridge send it and third eye, still a three shot kill.

I disagree with you and I don't have the thorn so I can't use it. Simply put thorn makes everyone have to be better. If the have to Nerf it the dial back the range and or adjust the DOT

The reason is nerfs are horrible. If destiny decided to nerf thorn all other hand cannons would go down with it like the recent fusion rifle nerf that was totally horrible.

7 RespuestasThe thorn does need to be nerfed but not as bad as you guys think The most annoying thing about it isn't actually the burn itself, it's the struggle as you watch your health slowly burn and have to wait longer for your armour to recharge, I'd much rather face a team of thorns to a team of the last words, people have got this gun all wrong and it's not all bad compared to how you guys are hating on it, I rarely get dropped by thorn if I have a last word equipped hip firing

I don't want thorn nerfed because it's overpowered... I want thorn nerfed because it's boring to have the same constant dynamic in crucible. If I go against a team of 6, I want to have the chance to go against 6 different setups, the chance to kill and be killed with all of the guns in the game. Have you tried wolf weapons in PvP? They're the latest endgame stuff, they should be amazing... Omg half of them are utter garbage.
