elder cipher wtf
so, I ran skolas and did not get the elder cipher, except when I go to the reef and talk ot variks the elder cipher bounty appears and I cannot do anything. did I get the bounty or not? Also, I did not get the ship from doing it either so I just want to understand if I actually -blam!-ing beat him or not.

Having the same problem. He's giving me the option to choose a bounty but I can't pick one of them. Wtf

I'm having the same issue with my Hunter the bounty is not there but variks gives me the option to pick and can't do anything, I hope this issue is resolved soon. Please bungie help us and shine light upon us.

Check your postmaster and also, you do have it. It's just that your bounty inventory was full so you won't see it there. If you want the steps, just search it up on Youtube

Hi, I completed the lvl 34 p.o.e today and when I went to the reef veriks had a green notification. I went to see and it said to choose a weapon but I can't . So I just finished 35 thinking that maybe I just needed to get the queens cypher to fix the issue and I open the chest and no queens cypher . my son got the elder cypher on 35 and same thing his bountys were full. So is their any point to keep trying to get the quuens cypher and using keys if it's not going to drop any way?

1 RespuestaSame thing happened to me. You probably didn't have a bounty slot open and the elder cipher Doesn't go to the postmaster. It's a bug that bungie is aware of. There's nothing that can be done except to run it on another character or wait till next weeks reset and run it on this one with the bug. Good news is that bungie said you are guaranteed another elder cipher if you do it on another character.
