They screwed up with house of wolves
House of wolves has alienated the pve players and pvp players so drastically and I do not see any common ground between the two anymore
Bungie really did not think this through and you can see all the pve players are already bored with the latest dlc and the rewards for the prison of elders suck so bad - people are threatening to leave or spending a lot less time playing
I for one am looking forward to the new games coming out and 3 weeks ago I would have never considered giving up destiny for another game
Destiny is on its way out and I am afraid there will be very few players around when the next dlc comes out

This is not 2 different games this is not you have to make a choice between 2 different types of content type of game. You are ment to play all types of the content in this game if you choose to not participate in a type of content then that is your own choice and your own fault for not getting the results you want.

(This is awful for me as my group of friends I play with is 4, one of us is always forced to do something else.) -New PvE event is complete, utter, shit. Before HoW, I considered myself a PvE only player, rarely ever played crucible. Since the new DLC, I have been in the prison as little as I possibly can. I find it to be as dry and boring as staring at a brick wall. It is truly a grind and a pointless one once you hit 34 on all characters. -Bungie is slowly [b]forcing[/b] ALL players to start participating in crucible. I thought this game was all about [u]fighting the darkness[/u]... not other guardians. If I wanted to play pvp I would be playing battlefield or call of duty, not the unbalanced, thorn-filled, shithole that pvp is right now. -I really enjoy this game, bungie has just made so many poor decisions with how they make and edit their game that it truly disappoints me. I know they have the potential to make epic games (I really do!!) they just have yet to show this with destiny. Done.

If there was a raid all the pve players wouldn't be complaining Oh no wait they would be complaining about a new cheese or the raid being too hard or the new armour looking terrible or the perks on the new weapons being bad or this or that Finally there is a rewarding pvp end game activity and even then it's limited to weekends All you pve "only" people will have a raid soon enough and when the comet dlc drops in September there will loads of missions strikes and probably a raid for you to whine and cry about

What's crazy is how easy it is to get some of the best legendary weapons but only in crucible and how often they drop. Playing iron banner I've gotten so many really decent weapons that have probably replaced my other legendaries. All from 2 days of IB. Not to mention how easy it is to get 6 etheric light. Also within that time span. Well I've gotten 4. But close to 5 on my other two. After today's bounties I'll have them. If I'm motivated enough. Kinda had my fill with pvp for a while.

I agree, they will need to put something out for the summer if they want to keep the majority of their players satisfied. Prison of elders is incredibly boring already, I do enjoy trials but most of the gamers came to destiny for a pve game to fight the darkness...not against other guardians

As a pve player I used to play 7 days a week and now I'm down to 1 day a week due to the new content, you can literally do all the raids and Poe in 1 day and seeing as level 35 is way too hard I find I'm struggling to get motivated Pvp is rubbish and I'm rubbish at it and you get the same weapons from all the other stuff so there is nothing to level up We needed a raid with this dlc to keep people playing until the new game comes out!! Majorly failed!!

Bout time pvp actually got some interesting stuff though...to bad it came at the expense of pve content lol, oh well pvp makes this a completely new game for me as I just dabbled in it, now it's all I do :)

My only annoyance is the elemental primary drop rate from Skolas. What's the point if you can just run trials and get one?

I agree with you that besides etheric light pve rewards are garbage. But I don't agree with anything else.

2 RespuestasThey gave to much of the dlc away for free is how they ruined it.... If you don't pay for it you shouldn't be on the same level as those who did. You don't see games like wow giving the people the ability to level even though they didn't buy a new expansion.

27 RespuestasI know that once Tuesday hits, I and most of my clan and other people I play with will be leaving Destiny. I honestly do not know if I will ever play the game again. I loved this game but Bungie seems to want to cater to PvP now and I play Destiny for PvE. I love PvP games but I am OK waiting for Black Ops III to come out for that. Bungie really needs to reevaluate their priorities if they truly want Destiny to be a 10 year franchise. 75% of the player base that I know are more than happy to let Destiny collect dust in their shelves at this point and Bungie has shown no signs of even trying to bring interest back. If they want top turn it into a PvP game, that's up to them but I wont be playing. I have waiting 2 years for ESO to come out for consoles and now that it is here I am ready to snap my Destiny disk in half and never look back. 1000 hours into this game and I love to play it but they take 1 step forward and 3 steps back ever time they release a patch or DLC. If they continue to cater to the vocal minority, they will not last until Comet comes out, let alone another 9 years after that. I don't know of it is Bungie or Activision that is making the calls, but they need to be fired and allow this game to be what it was intended to be instead of the half-assed glitch fest it is now. They spend time on making big purple balls yet they can not fix the raids that have been out for months? REALLY?

2 RespuestasIt's "end game content" and the game has been out for about 9 months now. It's not supposed to provide 5 hours of daily activity. Some people still want Fatebringer or Gjallahorn so they run raids and other "old" activities. If you have what you wanted by now, mix it up and play Witcher or something else and come back on Tuesday reset for NF and Friday for Xur. Lot of entitled babies on here think Destiny is supposed to be fresh after 9 months. Get a grip.

yep i,m all done with this expansion. nothing left for me to aim for , i just aupgraded all my vog and crota stuff , cos nothing drops in the prison thats any better. so why continue to play? id play on if there was anything worth aiming for , but all the rest of the good stuff is for ToO but i dont like pvp with all the elitist immature jerks who play it. if i wanted all that tennage angst i'd play COD .

3 RespuestasI guess I'm one of the few who actually like this. I hate PvE, I really do. There's only so many times I can go up against the same scripted AI targets who follow the same patterns before I get bored out of my skull. In the past 10 years the only online games I could think of that I played that didn't have PvP (real PvP that is) would be borderlands and diablo 3. I think it's awesome that there is a way for PvP players to get endgame gear doing PvP only. Since launch this game was all about PvE. Why is it so bad that we now have two ways to earn end game gear?

The only "error" I feel has occurred in HoW was opting for three man content over six man. Otherwise I think it was a very nice bundle of mixed content that offered something for everyone

That being said common sense can tell you that its a game you can jump on and off for and not something to sink your entire life in; Or feel you need to, as your constantly playing money. It's not fully an mmo of sorts. So really what's stopping you and many others from playing other games through the drought. Secondly, no ones being 'excluded' from anything. Players just have a preference. I prefer pve but get my kicks in pvp. Is there a wall that's hindering one player class from another? Player effort is the problem. Let me guess your going to say 'matchmaking? How about pvp'ers have a lighthouse and it's not fair? I don't get people at times. Content drought complaints but ridiculous hours play. Self induce segregation and blame faults on the developers. Burnt out complaints knowing full well we will have nothing til September and could have taken their time. Other games are out there to ya know. May I suggest witcher 3 or even elder scroll since the lot of you need to get a fix. So really people leaving destiny would do what to the game? Kill it? Destiny 2 will kill destiny 1 and it's not like we provide a steady monthly income for this game. Many already bought the game and the dlc. So they already have your money. So my god just play a damn new game if it's that frustrating!

I really like PoE i think it is fun, but i do agree that the new wepons kind of suck. I dont think i use any of them right now.
