House of wolves has alienated the pve players and pvp players so drastically and I do not see any common ground between the two anymore
Bungie really did not think this through and you can see all the pve players are already bored with the latest dlc and the rewards for the prison of elders suck so bad - people are threatening to leave or spending a lot less time playing
I for one am looking forward to the new games coming out and 3 weeks ago I would have never considered giving up destiny for another game
Destiny is on its way out and I am afraid there will be very few players around when the next dlc comes out
*********************
Figured I would update - installing and updating a new game as I am typing this
I got a lot enjoyment from Destiny
But
See yall on the other side and gl to all
Might be back someday but goodbye for now my fellow guardians
Live long!! Die well!!

3 RespuestasLmao since when did people have to openly "threaten" to stop playing a game? Why do you people do that? Can you not simply take a break on your own terms, rather than yelling out that you don't like it? It doesn't make sense to me.
-
I like it
-
As a pve player I'm actually enjoying this DLC quite a bit. Being new to online gaming it had always been difficult for me to find a raid group. It has been much easier for me to find 2 other people to run Poe with.

Editado por Folk: 6/8/2015 5:52:58 PMY'all take this shit too seriously.

Another one bites the dust....
-
why can't you be both... pvp vs pve players is nonsense.... play both and stop your crying...
-
2 RespuestasThey should have made it two separate DLCs for $10 each. One for PoE and one for ToO.
-
This is pretty true. I still got a week or two of resets in me just to get those etheric lights. I'm gonna get a solid variety of weapons at 365 and then I am out. Really no reason to play without incentive. The end-game rewards has been on easy mode since VoG. They just don't want the casuals to grind too much. Plus, there is no player driven economy and glimmer is of no importance. Everything is capped. You can only grow so much before things become redundant. In Destiny, this point comes relatively quickly.
-
4 RespuestasI'm not sure any of your statistics are accurate but nevertheless it's a good point. I feel only the elite players can pass the end game content (lighthouse and lvl 35). I've now reached this point where I have no reason to continue playing...
-
I Do both weekly... Enjoy both.
-
PoE and ToO have the exact same reward types, the only difference is that PoE has an additional weapons and three exotic weapons while ToO has an additional armor set and 1 exotic emblem.
-
I lost interest in PoE after my first play through. Haven't even touched it on 2 toons. I honestly don't understand how it's keeping anyone's interest. JMO
-
I'll hang around until Fallout 4 comes out, then I'm done for awhile. A long while.
-
Well that's your opinion, I play pvp and pve, I bought the game for the whole package why do people only play half the game?
-
See the odd thing I have found is that a lot of casual players really enjoy playing this DLC. I played trials with a friend, and it was his first time. He is a very relaxed, casual player, but he LOVES trials now. I know this isn't the case for everyone, but I feel like the point is valid. I don't think that this DLC alienated 90% of the community, more like 30%. Of course I would prefer 0% alienation, but to say that almost all of the destiny player base have chosen to either play pvp or pve is a little ridiculous.
-
It's total and utter crap. Bungie will see the numbers. Don't let the forums fool you, there are far less mainly PvP players than it would lead you to believe. It's just the same personality types that like PvP also like internet forums. Pretty sure I read somewhere it was less than 2% or something of the player base that has ever posted in the forums. The game was pitched as an RPG, and that's why the lion's share of people who bought it bought it, hell I didn't even hear about crucible being included until a couple months prior to launch.
-
3 RespuestasI think an overwhelming majority of us agree with you. Seeing as how 90% of the Destiny community are average joes and 10% are MLG try hards who actually think Crucible is cool. I said it from the HoW reveal trailers: "this won't be popular with 90% of the community." Bungie must know the game is falling off, for them to go ahead and alienate a majority of players. Oh well, such as life. Its just disappointing.

2 RespuestasI for one am done with destiny at least until the next dlc drops and if it doesn't have Jupiter or some other planet I won't be playing at all. Pvp is a joke the worst multiplayer FPS I have ever played I'm not great in other games battlefield or COD but I'm not horrible like I am in destiny I feel like it's more about what weapons you have than it is about skill. I would get slaughtered time after time until I got bad juju the only problem with that is I don't like pulse rifles. PvE could have been so much better than what it is, I really hate there's no optional matchmaking I do use the 100 and destiny lfg but sometimes it takes 20 to 30 mins to get a game started. When i get home from work i would like to be able to get in a game in under 2 mins i can see maybe not having it for 6 man events but all 3 man events should have it and then the people against it on the forums are a joke as it wouldn't effect them at all if there's was optional matchmaking, they could still use others means of finding a game but I bet if there was they would all use it too. Then you got the people who want to nerf everything when the better solution is to make other things better. To day was the first day I didn't complete the daily and daily bounties before work as I have done for the past three months that's how long I been playing destiny and I'm already sick of it. Include the first 2 dlc's and that's how much content should have been in the game when it dropped. If I known how little content there was I would have waited til HOW dropped before I even bought the game. When destiny 2 drops I won't be buying it til I know how much content there is and what's included with it.

I was mainly a PVE guy, but now...now that they forced me into PVP.
and i like it!
-
That's just, like...

your opinion...

man..
2 RespuestasShut up meg
-
So this is basically I'm crying and leaving destiny post? And how your opinions are all that should be considered when making a video game? If so bye the community will be better without you have a good day.
-
I'll probably be strictly pvp in about 3 weeks. ToO is tedious/booring/easy, and there's noting much left to do other than look for gear that has different rolls on it for anti-vex, cabal, fallen(does this exist)?
-
I do not see any common ground between the two anymore
Then you must be blind
-
Already got ESO on pre order can't get my mates to do anything on Destiny now, my friends actually playing it dropped from 46 to 16. And they are just doing the pvp as they are bored with the content. Lol 10 year game plan I think it's more like 10 months. Bungie have lost all but the fanboys.
