House of wolves has alienated the pve players and pvp players so drastically and I do not see any common ground between the two anymore
Bungie really did not think this through and you can see all the pve players are already bored with the latest dlc and the rewards for the prison of elders suck so bad - people are threatening to leave or spending a lot less time playing
I for one am looking forward to the new games coming out and 3 weeks ago I would have never considered giving up destiny for another game
Destiny is on its way out and I am afraid there will be very few players around when the next dlc comes out
*********************
Figured I would update - installing and updating a new game as I am typing this
I got a lot enjoyment from Destiny
But
See yall on the other side and gl to all
Might be back someday but goodbye for now my fellow guardians
Live long!! Die well!!

20 RespuestasEditado por Dizco Pat: 6/8/2015 11:55:36 PMBut OP. You're wrong. 15% of players play almost all PvE 1% of players play almost all PvP [b][i][u]85% of players play both. 3 RespuestasBungie actually gave the pvp players something a little extra and all the sudden its ruining pve players experience. Wrong, the fact that they provided very little strategic pve stuff, like a raid, is why the pve players are bored. Don't blame it on pvp, it's the lack of pve content.
-
1 RespuestaMaybe thats because you can get to 34 way to damn easily theres only one new end game content with only one specific set drops that are guaranteed after your first time : /
-
Before this, it has always been grind for gear in PvE to bring into PvP. Now you can grind PvP to bring gear into PvE. Not seeing the problem here. Everyone who thinks this is supposed to be a PvE only game is out of their mind. This is Bungie and Activision and I hope/Expect to see a whole lot more PvP support in the future.

9 RespuestasPeople are leaving? Wait I don't get why my city usually sells out of Destiny discs but other games are stacked all over... I think that's kind of weird how everyone came rushing back for House of Wolves, an they are still all playing it... Even right now inviting me to face Void Skollas...

1 RespuestaIt's caused dissension in our our little group of regulars - we don't have a clan but we might as well be. All this 3 vs. play has really screwed us up and caused many of us to get left out because the max fire time size for these new activities is 3 vs. You can only key farm on Venus for so long before getting bored as a 6 man team. Iron Banner further split us up when it should have brought us together ... things just seem to keep going further from bad to worse for my group ever since HoW came out.

2 RespuestasI feel ya, I used to play this game nearly every day since I got it, even through TDB. Now I do my 9 PoE runs and pretty much put it back in its case for the week, maybe some trials but they're just a boring campfest.
-
1 RespuestaWe are so blessed to have so many prophets in these forums. Wise predictions like [insert game here] will kill Destiny [spoiler][Destiny still lives even after The Witcher 3/spoiler] Now we have the bold prediction of Destiny dying. I think we hear that every week.

22 RespuestasDoes anybody actually enjoy playing both pve AND pvp like me? I swear everybody is either 100% pvp and 0% pve or vice versa.

I disagree I'm a PVE player I enjoy the POE, raids, weeklies and nightfall. I also enjoy the PVP side TOO and iron banner. Even with my shitty 0.88 K.D I have still manage to go flawless multiple times, I also managed to get all 3 characters to rank 5 on iron banner.

3 RespuestasLet's see what they did. Both have an endgame event: trials and prison. Both have their own vendor that sells armor and weapons. Both have ways to get elemental primaries.

For people that enjoy both aspects of Destiny this DLC is extremely full and great. I love trying to get all the elder ciphers and a full set of PoE gear as well as the version 2 of the weapons. And trying to go flawless while IB sometimes comes are around is awesome! And once FoAF is available it'll be even better. It always seems that people either hate PvP and love PvE or hate PvE and love PvP. Where's the people that like both?!
-
I think people alienate them selves bottom line
-
I'd play PvP if it didn't suck so bad. My biggest problem is that there is no variation to the weapons that 99% of people use. Every Iron Banner and Trials is the same- Thorn, Felwinters, TLW, Hawkmoon, Vex etc
-
1 RespuestaI actually agree. It polorised our clan between PvE and PvP to the point where we've disbanded.

4 RespuestasDestiny was doomed from the beta like i said
-
Poe isn't worth the effort for rewards simple as that.
-
Pve players get PoE. Pvp players get ToO.
-
I like HoW. Love the new weapons and new Loot in the Ducktales room. Only thing I don't like is ToO, which is more because of the stupid ass Thorn users overpowering every game. So me and my group are just waiting until Thorn is heavily nerfed then we'll start playing it.

1 RespuestaSame here. I loved Destiny, even though I would readily put it aside to finish other games, but would always come back. With the way they alienated players like me through HoW, however.... It feels like I might put it down for a long time, soon. I looked forward to every weeks tuesday because of having so much fun stuff to do with my friends. Now I just barely get rewarded for the time I invest, and I cant even finish all activities I want because it is either balls hard or too long. Unfortunately the only rewards worth playing for are locked behind said balls hard or too long activities, so... yeah... motivation is pretty low right now. If nothing changes in the coming weeks, I dont know, I am sad to say but maybe the game I loved is not that game anymore.

3 RespuestasNo they did not screw the game up wiht this dlc, the game was not always going to be fair and equal across the board on each and every dlc as to who got what or how ever, nor does it need to be because some pve players get butthurt they cannot get certain gear either. lol.. destiny is on its way out? No players when the next dlc comes out? LOL what a riot... your attempt to scare them with that petty game of 'oh noes the game is dieing' does not work on bungie and never will either.

4 RespuestasStop being such a baby and just play PvP! Your being selfish by being bummed that PvP players actually have something fun to do besides just PvE content. I play both but PvP actually makes you think while PvE is very repetitive. Just give it a shot. You probably won't be very good at first but like everything, you'll get better with practice
