Like, 7 times out of 10 I play with someone who started as a Hunter, they piss me right off. These are the guys who screw around and do stupid things on raids that makes everyone wipe, the ones who think because they are fast that it makes them the best candidate to run and grab something, the guys who go all lone wolf and run off by themselves on IB or any other Crucible match. They aren't interested in buffing or helping the team, they only want to get as high a score as they can for themselves, and if their team doesn't win they leave them because they think they suck. Doesn't actually matter to them that they did nothing to help out their "sucky" team. Oh sure, Hunters are usually the very first ones to do some specific task, but it's never to help the team out. You do it for the glory. Half the time you completely suck at it and then blame it on us.
There are some of you Hunters out there who are awesome. You voluntary Swordbearer, you Bladedancing Angel who solos raid sections to help the team out, you Gunslingers who know that you'll get more kills as a Bladedancer but choose Gunslinging to create more orbs and increase the team's chances of survival in ToO. Bless you for your sacrifices for us.
As for the rest of you... Well, we hate you. Tolerate at best.
Sincerely,
Titans and Warlocks
PS: I do have a Hunter class, yup. I use it for the exact reasons I mentioned, to help the TEAM out.
Edit 1: I'm enjoying seeing all the people who are getting their feelings hurt. As I said, some of you Hunters are there for your team, helping them out and running classes that may not get you more kills but will ensure your teams survival and success. Therefore, there are two reasons why you might be getting mad here.
1. You didn't read my post all the way through.
2. You recognize that what I'm saying is true. You are indeed selfish.
Edit 2: Lets reiterate something here. I don't outright avoid Hunters. If one drops onto my team I'm not gonna rage quit. I just get wary is all. Second, I'm STILL getting responses from some of you saying how I'm wrong and a bitch and how you're so awesome cuz you save your team and pull them through raids and such. Guess what? I mentioned that some of you work for the good of your team. Props to you if you do it without needing praise. But getting self-righteous about how awesome you are for doing these things makes you look like a martyr, and further supports my conclusion that you are indeed a selfish douche.
And to those of you who are awesome Hunters and don't sell that awesomeness for praise, props to you. Stay humble and stay sweet.
Edit 3: General consensus seems to be in the form of an SAT statement.
Not all Hunters are a-holes.
However, almost all a-holes play as Hunters.
Now that I've had my 15 minutes, I bid you all adieu.

Hunters ARE the best at going lone-wolf and grabbing things such as relics because they can go invisible. You should be happy you have a hunter on your team for that reason because it may very well save your damn life. If you haven't realized it yet I am a hunter.
-
I hardly ever use bladedancer for kills or orbs, except in PvP, it's there for one reason only, to go invisible at a clutch moment to revive people or some action that might be really dangerous and could cause a wipe. Yeah it doesn't make orbs, but it can sure save from a wipe, same as a sunsinger with revive.
-
Some of this is true man, lots of hunters are like that. The sheer amount of butthurt here is just priceless
-
4 RespuestasThe most selfish class is warlock sunsinger with self revive.
-
1 RespuestaIt's true I am pretty selfish. I don't apologize
-
Oh wow.... You forgot about the players (Like yourself, yes, I read the edits) that actually try to help.....
-
Go home ya jerk
-
Its the player, not the race
-
Good one how about the fact that hunters have to run invis build in PoE just so when everyone else gets killed we can solo mines and revive everyone thus saving the run. Instead of running gunslinger our preferred class that is more useful for damage output
-
Hunter is my least favorite class, but I have one. This is still going on the list of most stupid statements in the history of this forum
-
Editado por LukeDSwag: 6/11/2015 7:45:27 PMI am a hunter and I'm always the most cautious and usually the best player we have (pve wise of course). My titan friend however often screws around and fails for the group lol. Trust me goofs are just goofs regardless of class.
-
I'm a day one hunter and if were doing something serious I switch to bladedancer just to use invis when I need to grab a teammate but if its low level poe or something like that I screw around for fun all the time lol
-
Why are you crying
-
I'm a hunter but always try to think of the team, I know when to pull back and use arc blade to help when it will work best, I think it's awesome when a team really works together, that's always the best experiences imo
-
My team have won many a trials matches solely on because I am a hunter running multitool. The only way anything can catch a hunter with multi tool is another hunter. Arc blades can't even catch me. So no not selfish very helpful when last alive.
-
1 RespuestaI do what I do to win. If you are on my team. I will do what it takes to win even if it means leaving you behind.
-
Editado por HRH74: 6/11/2015 1:41:46 AMSorry, didn't read the whole thing. My bad! I just saw the first few sentences and the title
-
3 RespuestasI agree mostly, but warlocks can be the most selfish while doing strikes and stuff; I played a dragon strike (I as a sunsinger) with 2 other sunsingers that, after using my super (without dying) I created 8 orbs of light, and continued doing so throughout the strike; the other 2 sunsingers didn't use their super the whole time
-
I know exactly what you mean. The majority of hunters I play with think they are hot shit but always cause a wipe to happen. There is also the good ones who aren't retarded and know their class has the lowest armour stats and dies the easiest
-
As a titan for my main I would say that hunters are probably the most valuable asset to any team. Im just not good with them or I might main the hunter. In most endgame content I think hunters are probably the most important roll to play. Just my opinion though
-
More kills as a bladedancer vs gunslinger in trials. Sure against scrubs who you're most likely going to wipe all over the floor anyway. Against a good team gunslinger all day.
-
So first I'd like you to know that lots of titans are numbskulls who think they can beast everything because of their high defense stat and a lot if warlocks think they can do anything because they're all a bunch of eggheads with a plan for everything. So just because a hunter goes out saying " I'll get our teammate, who's surrounded by enemies, think for a second before calling him a hot head. He can go invisible, can you?
-
Hey man we hunters just like to have fun. You should try it sometime.
-
You guys realize you're playing against human beings right? Joe can play as a hunter, titan, or warlock. So can Sam and Fred. Sam and Joe both pick warlocks, and Fred picks a hunter. Oddly enough, they're still just Sam, Joe and Fred. Not Sam and Joe the warlocks and Fred the hunter. Fred probably likes lasagna. Sam and Joe also probably like lasagna. They probably enjoy similar TV shows. They don't go to work and brag to their coworkers that they're a hunter or warlock part of a master race. Food for thought.

1 RespuestaLol honestly, you're an idiot. And before you go and say this, no, im not butthurt. I dont care what you may think about hunters, or about me. The thing that bugs me about your comment is the fact that you clearly seem to think hunters are the only class that do that, that titans and warlocks dont rush off all alone like idiots and cost the team, because they do. People that play hunter are not in any way different than people that play warlock or titan. Also, why do you think bladedancers get more kills in trials? Thats probably the worse option, because with GG you get ranged kills and dont have to ditch your team putting your ghost in a bad position when you (inevitably, assuming the enemy is at least somewhat skilled and are using thorn, which everyone in trials does, and has 1 person using a shotgun) die.

sooooo much TL:DR
