Should Raids include Faction Reputation? (499 points)
So for the people that do weekly Nightfall and Heroic, we end up getting 499 vanguard reputation. Of course if you are wearing a faction item you receive 499 points towards that factions reputation. I would want something similar included in raid so we can have more of an incentive to play them. I wouldn't mind 250-300 Vanguard Rep after beating a raid, depending on difficulty. Do any of you guys/gals agree? Should Bungie add this to the raids?
I would also like to clear the confusion of how it would work, yes you will have to complete 100% of the raids in order to receive the reputation. From start to finish any order you want, not necessarily with the same fireteam. So you won't be able to just load up the boss fight and beat it for rep. Nope, gonna have to go back and do the other parts. :P C'mon now we don't want it to be THAT easy.

1 RespuestaI brought this up a while back. You would think you get some kind of reputation in the tower for conquering the legendary vault of glass or for killing a hive god. I mean it would only make you a total badass. Plus is a weekly activity and can only be done once. Its not like you could farm it. Its also not like the packages you get have a great chance of giving you something. 90% of them are crap.

I'd say split it up into 50-100 per CP.

I'd go for : obtain loot from all chances possible to get the 499 once you get the last loot. That way no one just runs the easy parts like oracles or abyss

1 RespuestaI think it totally makes sense to give reputation for completing raids, and always was a little mystified by the lack of that feature. I DO think you should have to complete the ENTIRE raid though. No jumping it at a checkpoint for the final boss and reaping the benefits. Another option, if not giving a bundle of faction points for doing the raid, would be having raid specific bounties.

I mean, they're supposed to be the biggest challenge for any Guardian, yet there's no Rep given for it? So... your Faction and everyone else in the game world doesn't give two shits that you beat Time's Conflux? The greatest champion of the Vex aside from the Heart of the Garden? Or; since Eris's whole reason for being in the Tower is to talk-you-into/guilt trip you into killing Crota, but when you kill Crota, you gain no increase in reputation from her? There's a lot of areas like this that Bungie didn't take into account when designing the world that exists in their FPSRPG.

3 RespuestasFor your first full weekly completion, yes. But it would be too easy to grind rep if you could just drop in at the boss checkpoint and bag 499. Also, am I the only one who feels dailies should give rep?

1 RespuestaI like it. Once a week, per raid, and per character, and you get it once all stages are complete. If you do one on Normal, and then Hard, you get the difference.

5 RespuestasOr they should have weekly raid sections, like the Templar with void, juggler, and nightfall on. That way you can get raid rewards and nightfall style rewards on sections of the raid. Talk about a challenge
