Who else is enjoying the battle between the xurners and the earners today?
Edit 1: if this is what happens when xur sells thunderlord what happens when he sells gjallarhorn?? My money is on Michael bay

It's the same thing with almost every weapon. Then when he doesn't sell anything exciting, everyone gets pissed. This has gone on since his very first appearance. Always the same exact arguments as though they were never made before. This includes your post as well as my reply to it. It will be the same thing every week...forever and ever and so on until the sun goes supernova.

1 RespuestaAll these players b*tch about Xur and the players that buy from him every Friday, and I just sit here thinking, "I gotta let my friend know so he can buy something useful". These other players need to stop being selfish and realize that not everyone has the same luck and opportunity as them. My friend and I play the nightfall every week, and try to play raids whenever we actually get invited, but it hardly ever works out for us. Now, I was lucky enough to get most of my exotics from ROC strikes, or legendary engrams. I even recently got Thunderlord from Crucible. But my friend has horrible luck with the RNG system. He has never gotten a single exotic from a Nightfall, or any other activity where you'd have a high chance of obtaining one. This recent Nightfall, he got Ascendant energy. Last week he got strange coins. All the previous Nightfalls, he's gotten nothing but crappy legendary weapons or materials. Do you really think it's reasonable, or fair, to leave unlucky players in the dust?

The funny thing is there are no earners only xurner's who have earned strange coins during weeklies, so the xurner's are earner's and the so called earner's are grinders who do the same thing over and over for a random loot drop then claim they earned it!

7 RespuestasPeople focus so much on "noobs" buying from Xur that they forget about all of the vets, with hundreds of hours played, who haven't been lucky enough to get the Thunderlord. Xur is for them as much as for the casual player saving for weeks to buy just one weapon.

My Guardian had to do things to Xur today to get that Thunderlord. I am not proud of them and will not speak of them ever again. That Xur, he is a shady fella....I found out what he does with those Strange Coins, it wasn't pretty. Shudders just thinking about it.

6 RespuestasPlayers X & Y both play a nightfall during the same week. They both play with level 32 characters of the same class and subclass while using the same subclass, armor & weapon loadouts. Player X finishes the nightfall in 30 minutes with 13 deaths and kills 38 enemies, underperforming in comparison to the other players in the fireteam. Player X received "Special Snowflake Exotic" from RNG for completing the Nightfall. Player Y finishes the nightfall in 30 minutes with 1 death and kills 198 enemies, outperforming the other players in the fireteam. Player Y received "Shard/Energy" from RNG for completing the Nightfall. Destiny is a game where players in identical environments using identical builds with opposite skill levels can receive completely different rewards. Using logic, can anyone actually earn anything in Destiny if it doesn't take the same effort/performance to receive better gear?
