Are you buying anything from the tower before it goes away on 5/19?
Since we can bring all legendary guns and armor forward with us now, tower gear is no longer junk. All of the factions have Infusion helmets (orbs heal you) and there are a few guns that are worth ascending. Not to mention that we can "kinda" transmog a little by mixing and matching legendary armor to be 34.
The vanguard is currently selling dark below armor but, the various factions still sell vanilla destiny armor so, if you always wanted to wear a certain piece that was irrelevant before, go re-buy it before it's too late. You have 2 weekly resets which is potential of 200 marks before HoW on 5/19.
Are you grabbing anything before it goes away?
I'm getting the Hunter new monarchy helm. I'd suggest looking at the Saterienne Rapier from the Crucible vendor. It's an awesome scout with a fatebringer setup.

*edit* Holy cow, almost 500 replies! Seems like most of you are pretty safe with the new stuff rather than the old. Let's hope that's a safe bet.

Bought "the chance" since I have every other hand cannon in the game (except LHF and Merciful). Wanted to have a complete collection! Now all I have to do is travel back in time to get the first PVP HC :(

2 RespuestasI'm probably going to cave and buy The Chance (FWC hand cannon), because this game refuses to drop it for me. I've had multiples of The Conduit (pulse rifle), The Calling (scout rifle), The Culling (machine gun), The Cure (rocket launcher) and The Crash (shotgun), but never have had The Chance in a drop or a package. I've also only had one of The Calming (fusion rifle) and I dismantled it after TDB, which now I'm kicking myself because I could have ascended it in HoW, and I still have yet to get another one.

I just grabbed The Crash from FWC. Haven't got a legendary solar shotgun and can't see any in the new House of Wolves DLC for vendors.

2 RespuestasI got the Vanquisher VIII from New Monarchy, I know its an auto rifle and they suck right now. But as far as auto rifles go its a decent one with a fairly decent perk set. If auto rifles are brought back to their former glory this could be a really decent weapon to use

3 RespuestasI bought gloves with int/dis and faster Hand cannon reload for my Hunter and warlock. I realized i won't Be needing ascendant shards in HoW anyway except for trading so i'm trying to go for the Perfect high int/dis set for PvE.
