1 RespuestaThe bots were a positive. It's a great game but lack if content killed it. I still have 80 hour a in it which more than any multiplayer focused game this console for me
-
1 RespuestaI think it was the lack of content

2 RespuestasI see what you did there...
...very clever friend :))
I loved bots. I thought they were something different and I really liked them.

I'm 73% positive that the reason so many players left was because there was so little progression, 12 or so primaries and 3 secondaries, and even less for titans (although they did have abilities, but they still didn't have all that many, about 12 in total as well) It just lacked unlocks and content in general. I loved the game but once i had all the unlocks i found it hard to come back, hopefully Titanfall 2 will fix that though!
were bots the problem with titanfall
I still play it however the bots definitely are not to blame the main problem for me is the lack of customisation it's nice to be able to differentiate yourself from others
-
3 RespuestasI still play it and truly believe it was an underated game. Bots were great and never a problem for me, if i was going and a bad run against other players then id work on the bots. If it had a proper story in the vein of a halo type story then it would of been great

3 RespuestasGreat game. Players just felt like $60 was too much for just multiplayer. Same thing happened to another game years ago. Shadowrun for the 360. Awesome FPS but no campaign turned off many players
-
Honestly I still play it. I think like most of Microsofts problems it got some bad PR. The having no campaign didn't help. If it had launched with all the updates it currently has I think it would have been better. Plus you have to remember COD: Ghosts came out a little bit after TF. Many of those players switched and seeing as their fanbases are similar it's hard to recoup those losses in players. Still I think TF is the best shooter out there right now. It's definitely the most balanced I've played in a while. Rewarding skill instead of cheap tactics.

2 RespuestasIt lost people fast because no one payed attention to the developers when they said it was mainly PvP. All I ever hear people complain about is lack of campaign when there was never supposed to be a campaign. I still play on the 360 daily

3 RespuestasThere were barely any guns

7 RespuestasEvery FPS should have bots. They make games like that infinitely better.
-
No, they were a large portion of the reason why the game was as good as it was. The game had a feeling of an actual war that most games don't adequately portray.
-
3 RespuestasBots literally made the game. It turned fps into an actual game of skill instead of just shoot and hold down the crouch button at the same time to receive nukes. If a player didn't want to risk giving points by dying, he could hunt down bots to give the team the lead. If a player such as moi was good at killing titans, I just hunted bots and players till the titans started dropping and got the 10 points for each of them, it was more of a tactical shooter with the planning involved, more games should implement it. Not to mention, bots made the battles feel like battles, not 10 people fighting over this random pirate ship, or 12 people fighting for this random piece of land.
-
I maxed out the first week the game came out. Haven't played since
-
I liked the game alot. The problem was lack of gamemodes at launch. But still, most immersive future shooter out there.
-
... Yeah, sure... That was why the game wasn't memorable, bots...
-
I wouldn't say it was "the" problem, but it was certainly a factor.

1 RespuestaLack of weapon variety and little attachments and the game had little developer support as the developers still thought they had enough weapons and game types
-
1 RespuestaAs fun as it was, it still felt somewhat shallow for $60. The lack of story and set-up didn't really help get you invested to start with. I'm not saying they had to have a story mode, it's just that the build up didn't get super interesting. The burn cards were a fairly stupid concept. They just felt out of place and weren't a very good system. Lastly, it just seemed to lack depth. The guns weren't bad but needed more variety to give you something a little extra to work on and give you more of a customized feel.

ITT: Smart pistoler's who ran around only killing bots
-
I think the bots were a great addition. Granted, they were dumb as nails, but it allows even the noobiest of players to contribute towards the team effort, and the retarded AI mechanics made it easier to pick out the players amongst them. Although, a good player could also use them as camouflage. I think they added another level of depth, not much but some.
-
I play it the same way it came out. I hop on, play a bunch of matches(1-2 hrs.) and then move on to something else. It's a lot of fun, and sure beats the hell out of the Destiny grind.
-
I don't know, loved it and played it every day. Don't see why lack of story was a prob, most people play once and forget it anyways. I guess it could have used more content but for me it was plenty.
