All this hate for such a small thing. Really. Bungie is giving us things that we want! Better special ammo control, fixing up raids, upgradable guns, better and improve social experience, adding in Easter eggs, giving us new verity and game modes, and they are still considering some of our requests like private PVP, transmogrification, gun skins, and more! But all they ask us is to have the raid be a little late and we all start crying and whining about it. We asked them for a better raid, and they are giving us one. Unlike crota which honestly feels very rushed and fast, they are taking there time perfecting the raid. We did ask for it.
There are many times that I feel even embarrassed to see these forums. Like during Christmas, it was the most cringiest thing to read the forums of all these people crying about getting a bad LEGENDARY weapon that they got for free.
I just want to let you know Bungie, there are many many more people who support you. You are doing the right thing and driving this game in the right direction. :)

They deserved it. If they just delayed it by atleast 5 months and worked on its flaws(more content, better reward system etc.) and polished it, while creating the "rich cinematic storytelling" we were promised Then it would've been an another story.

Well 80% of the community are entitled 12 year olds that failed preschool so
:)
3 RespuestasThey went from Halo, to this. This is the future of gaming, folks. No content, a mishmash of other games thrown into one, creating no real identity of its own, and only enough effort to keep us playing until the next paid DLC. LOL

1 RespuestaEditado por Fingernageldreck: 4/17/2015 3:30:11 PMThe fact that a weekly update not too long ago was focused on a interview with a developer who was working on a sound mix option for the game 6months after release speaks for itself... Take the hype, the promises they made and then take a look on what was given. Every bit of this backlash is well deserved!

86 RespuestasEditado por bgame: 4/15/2015 10:58:21 PMOkay first off..... The people that are upset, myself included, are upset because of the fact that when we preordered the season pass ( CE and HOW ) the descriptions said both would come with RAIDS. Now if bungie were to come back and say that the delayed raid was going to be free to anyone who preordered HOW, that would be another story completely. However we all know that when said raid finally hits our screens were gonna have to buy it AGAIN. You cannot take peoples money and then change your mind about what your going to give them, that's horribly bad business. That's like ordering a coffee and getting a cup of hot water.... It's something right???? Secondly the new content, that everyone's saying oh well it's new and exciting so stop whining, isn't even new content. Trials of Osiris?? Anyone's who's really been following destiny pre launch knows about this, hell it was going to be the only way to acquire the fate of all fools exotic scout rifle. So it's not "new" so much as they just "didn't give it to you." And the Arena??? Sounds a lot like firefight mode from that game Halo ODST, I forget, who made that? Oh that's right Bungie made that, so again not really anything new as much as were just recycling things. All that being said I would have been 100% fine with bungie coming out and saying hey were not done we need time and taking the time to deliver a solid raid. Hell most of us have been waiting years for the division to come out and we'll keep on waiting, but to just pull the sh#t they did, that's just bogus. As soon as this all happened one thing came to mind, and keeps coming to mind every time I hear someone complain about the people complaining..... This isn't what I PAID for.

1 RespuestaHonestly, I don't feel bad for Bungie. It's not because of some level of hate, but all the forum non-sense is a great thing. It mean that they have a very passionate fanbase (if not sometimes outright insane). That's a great problem to have. Bungie has also been making video games for a long time. They have very thick skin and are big boys and girls. They aren't going to get ruffled over forum/reddit posts or even bad reviews. As long as money is in the pipeline, there are still a lot of players, and Activision is happy, I'm pretty sure most days are pretty decent at Bungie. Now developmentally/internally, that's probably a much bigger issue =) I do agree that the forums are an absolute mess. People take their passion and twist it into stuff that's really mean and ugly. Instead of a place where honest discussion occurs, things degenerate into childish name calling in half a second. I admit to not always riding a moral high horse, sadly. I'd love to see people stop being jerks in an effort to just be decent. I'm sure if a new player were to sign up for Destiny, come here, they could very easily be scared away thinking the community at large is represented by this place. We all love games, we all have opinions, and we disagree a lot about how Destiny should work. There's a lot of good in the Destiny community, and the forums could represent themselves better (even yours truly).

I support Bungie. They do good work. Can't innovate without departing from the old way of thinking. They might not get it right in the first go-around but let's see what happens.

I support Bungie. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. I'll try HoW and if it stinks, I'll probably quit at that point. While I respect and support them, I am very disturbed by the decision to not have a raid. I have three friends who play and now we won't be able to play together in endgame content during HoW. So in response, I support and respect Bungie but I can't help but be critical of them. I really think they made a mistake. I hope they do something so I can play with my friends still, but they most likely won't.

Editado por Steveo340: 4/16/2015 3:49:45 PMI'm just sitting back, enjoying the game (as imperfect as it is, and as gitchy as CE can be), and waiting to see what HoW will be like. Yeah, I'd like to see a Raid come with HoW in May, but, as for whether the next Raid is included in the HoW DLC price or not, and when it will drop (i.e. before Comet or with Comet) it is all speculation right now. Sure, I may end up really disappointed with HoW, and I will be disappointed if I have to pay for the next Raid, especially if it is glitchy and/or doesn't drop before Comet, but, there is no way to know right now, so, it just doesn't make sense to worry or to bitch about it now. Not a fan boy, I know Bungie has let us down before, it is just that so much is speculation right now, and I am not going to get all worked up over unknowns. I will admit, though, that I am getting a bit bored, so I hope HoW delivers and we don't have to wait till Comet for the next Raid (though, hopefully, that Arena thing in HoW will offer enough interest and rewards to make lack of a new Raid acceptable).

Agreed! People have no clue how HARD it is to make such a giant game.

This is why I've started to play borderlands. No one complains.

23 RespuestasLike Jeremy Jahns said, "There are two types of players who play destiny; those who know it's a fail and never will amount to anything more, and those in denial." Keep up the good work though, kind sir, I'm sure the brown stuff comes off your nose and lips just as easily as it was smeared on. The smell though,......

Sorry to say that I do not feel sorry for Bungie. I'm not particularly salty about the lack of a raid. I am disappointed but you wont see me yelling about a law suit and requesting a refund. I usually do not pre-order Season passes. I only made the exception on this game because of how much I enjoyed the raid activity and against my own better judgement pre-ordered the DLC. I bought it without knowing fully what was going to be in it so that's on me, this just proves why you should never assume something. I can tell you that the future DLC after HOW I will definitely not be pre-odering. I will wait to hear from people that have it on whether it is worth picking up. I do feel however that this particular complaint does deserve attention if not just to make sure that the voice of people that enjoy this content are not pushed off to the side because we are perceived as a smaller audience. Many of the games biggest problems have been fixed because of what people on these forums consider complaint threads. Yes you do tend to have to wade through quite a few rage posts but there is no age requirements on these forums so how much can you really expect. I don't know why there is this huge chasm between the people that wanted a new raid with the DLC and people that don't care about raiding. I don't think anyone worth listening to is saying adding a horde mode to the game was a bad idea. I think there are just a lot of people who feel that they should have been able to add both. No amount of testing is going to prevent bugs from occurring on these scripted encounters. I have a feeling that the crew that had the biggest hand in designing the raids is no longer with Bungie and they are struggling to create meaningful encounters that do not just feel like another strike with 6 people. As it is the difference between VOG and Crota were extremely evident, both in exploration value of the actual instance and complexity of encounters. I am cautiously optimistic about the prison. I am not a fan of horde mode type game modes so I hope it has more depth to it than just fighting off waves of enemies and fighting a boss at the end of every few rounds. Especially considering that is the make up of pretty much every story mission and strike already in the game.

Make no mistake the potential that has been wasted with Destiny is massive.
