Posting in regards to the wording of the HOW post. Will HOW have a delayed raid like VOG was delayed? Or will there be no raid at all for HOW and the next raid will be the one coming with the rumoured "Comet" expansion?
Would be nice to have some clarification to stop all this arguing in the forums. I'm interested to see what the arena mode will be like, but am concerned on whether the next raid will require a new payment, as are many others. There's a lot of confusion on the forums over this topic.
Edit: Grammar and odds.

1 RespuestaIf its delayed until the comet, I think that comet should have 2 raids.

3 RespuestasEditado por DeeNyc793: 4/18/2015 3:19:25 PMIt's your choice to play what they release. Complain or praise after you actually play it. Destiny isn't the only game, and video games aren't the only thing to do during summer. Try to block out the crying. And be the judge of the content they release. If you don't like it, don't support it. But as of right now everyone's guessing. They just wanna sound like their in the loop. Which they are not.

2 RespuestasPersonally i think the next wait will be in september. It would be cool if it was only delayed to fill the huge gap between expantions but i dont think thats the case

No raid.

I just want those Fallen weapons and armor. I want my tank armor.
-
delayed
-
It won't receive a raid at all according to the update. Whether the raid "later this year" will still be included in the season pass or be Fallen themed, we shall have to wait and see.
-
My guess is the reason behind delaying the raid is to have something to release in a couple of months to help prevent the game from becoming stale again. This 5 months since the Dark Below was released has gotten rough.... Gotta spread that thin content out....

2 RespuestasThe HOW announcement says that a raid will come out between HOW and the next DLC.

3 RespuestasEditado por ThyLordIntrovert: 4/18/2015 4:50:21 AMI actually don't mind the lack of raid. Don't get me wrong I love the raids but it is ridiculous trying to form a proper team, I go to lfg and see this: "Level 32s only must have maxed g-horn, icebreaker, and TLW" (For vault easy to get some gear for my hunter) Are you kidding me? The first raid, lowest difficulty and you want 32s only? With this new 3 player arena battle it will be easier to form a group (hah, who am I kidding, elitist g-horn cultists will be everywhere) but more importantly, since it requires less players it may be possible to solo it meaning I don't need people with me.
House of Wolves will not contain a raid activity
Taken at face value, this is telling me that the raid coming later will not be included if you bought HoW. It will be either a stand-alone DLC or part of Comet.

Delayed. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ cha ching $$$$$&$$$$$$$$$$$$$
-
3 RespuestasThey removed it from house of wolves and there releasing it later this year and there going to charge us for the raid

6 RespuestasIt would probably just be delayed. It would be somewhat disingenuous if Bungie released the only Fallen themed raid separately from the only Fallen themed expansion pack. Lumping it in with Comet would be extremely awkward and disingenuous as Comet is a Hive themed expansion and not a Fallen themed expansion.
-
Well anyone that can read and comprehend basic English understands it will not have a raid. It's black and white in the update.
-
4 RespuestasI think there is one, Planet Destiny data mined and found something about a description that sounded VERY much like a HoW raid. So if it's true, which I believe it is, I'd think it'll be release between HoW and Comet.

1 RespuestaThere is no raid. Instead they replaced it with a type of hoard mode ( kinda like Black Op Zombies ) called the Prison of Elders. I expect it will be fallen enemies as the DLC is fallen themed. As the waves go on, enemies get harder get rewards are more satisfying. Bungie will be doing a full gameplay of the Prison of Elders in May 6th.

2 RespuestasBungie explicitly stated that house of wolves will not include a raid. They mentioned that a raid is being developed to be released at a later date, but they were unclear as to when and whether it would be part of comet or a standalone DLC, but it wont be included in the purchase of House of wolves.

2 RespuestasLearn how to read.
"Look at all that pretty armor! What could it all mean?" he wrote. "I know that rampant speculation will burn for a while on this topic. As you enjoy a conversation about the pearls of information that can be lifted from this, please bear a few things in mind..." "1. Aside from giving it a name, Bungie has yet to reveal the House of Wolves. That means that anything you know about it can change. We have a team working on the experience in their own fancy room, and they have some exciting surprises up their sleeves." "2. We reserve the right to overwrite anything you're looking at right now. These placeholder items enable us to save room on your drive for actual future updates. You'll all download them before it's time to play." "3. Any stats or assumptions about power or impact or handsomeness are months old, and do not reflect the things that we're doing to adapt to what you've taught us about Destiny. There is a process here, and you're a part of it." He concluded that, while he understands the excitement and speculation surrounding the leaks, he hopes fans do not see the information as final plans. "All we ask is that you leave your mind open to the evolutions that are inevitable. What you see here are very old ghosts from our pre-launch database. These are not necessarily the wolves you're looking for."
2 RespuestasEveryones gonna tell you something different, so the only people that matter are Bungie. The real question is why they haven't clarified the issue. Their silence seems to indicate that a raid isn't coming.
-
bungie made it clear, no raid for house of wolves, ever.
-
Noraid at all
-
But why would they let us know what is actually happening when instead, deej can just continue giving us purposely vague updates with no actual information in the same "screw you guys" sarcastic tone. But don't worry, all these pointless updates will be locked from commenting, further ensuring the least amount of information gets shared.

1 Respuestait's not clear and bungie may not even know themselves how they are going to do it.
-
I think they'll release one this summer, separately from Comet. This is speculation, but I think it would do them immense good with the Community, and give us more in the Drought between Official (paid) content releases.
