How about the original group drawing? Curious as to what I could improve on for the next one.

 • Oh, I remember seeing this one! Right off the bat, just from another glance, you're passing where so many fail. Get ready to hear everything you already know LOL. More of a review. Feel free to fite me. First thing that impresses me is how well you blend your styled techniques on what looks like a solid foundation - maybe it's just more amateur artists, but a lot of people tend to stylize first then tweak it until it suits them. They don't reference where they should, and usually that's that. But you're caricatures look great because I think you're able to apply your knowledge in different ways to make each one look unique, especially the eyes. On a side note, I really like the attention to each caricature's facial structure... And necks. Thank you for not drawing those dinky effin' necks we see in art too often. Unless it's intentional... lol. It's actually pretty difficult for me to think of ways to improve what you have here, already. There are only small things, I think. Because of how well you apply stylization to foundation, I'd encourage you to work on structuring hair, rather than building the motion/shape from individual strands. Work in chunks. Here's a couple of links to help illustrate what I mean: http://i.ytimg.com/vi/M_NnCOtpVyA/maxresdefault.jpg http://asiaty.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/hair-drawing-tumblr-bun-isxqsukl.jpg https://learntoart.files.wordpress.com/2010/08/curly-hair-tutorial-4.jpg (still too wispy I think but the technique is there) You'll form nicer textures for sure, and it'll be more eye-pleasing, as well as transition well into giving some perspective into the hair. Which brings me to the weapon doodles. They're pretty cool! They don't 'need' it, but I think they could be improved with perspective. Which is super boring to straight up practice ('nor am I sure you really need much practice to implement) so I'd just recommend being conscious of it, if you can. Finally, everything I've seen you work with is monochrome, even with some shading. I think it could be a good excersize to do some life drawing using only coloured pencils, drawing different materials and complex lighting. I think it's safe to say you can skip the fruit, unless you want to do that, and find more interesting things to work on. Try getting near eye-level with a cool boot or something. The more complicated subjects to draw this way I find, are things that have a translucence factor, such as bottles and plastic bags. It's also fun to practice with coloured lighting, but that's more of a broadening practice. I actually really enjoy working on brown paper for this kind of thing. Being able to have white pop so much is good for me. As ever, this doesn't hurt to study with a good quality photo of a face, either - both with the colour-only and in monochrome. You're a better artist than I am from the foundation up, it seems to me. I've seen a couple of your full body drawings but seeing so many subjects at once really hits home. I'm really impressed, mang. I've got a couple of questions, if you don't mind :D How long have you been practicing for? Is this all in pen, excluding the text? Bio was the bear, right? I liked that doodle a lot. This is like a 8.8/10 for what it is. Did I miss anything you wanted me to talk about?

 • I've been drawing my whole life, and have been seriously trying to improve my skills for the passed six years. It's all just a black writing pen, lol. Fine-Tip Sharpie for the text. -And the bear is Griizly Bear, lol. I read Neck and then saw Dinky and was like Hmm... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Thanks for the tips on the hair and perspective. I'll definitely try that out. I have been practicing with colored pencil a little bit, but only just introducing myself to it. Nothing substantial yet. All in all, excellent review. I'm glad you touched so many points, positive and negative.
Did you really r8 me 8.8 m8?
