Edit: I changed the title to clear up confusion. I should have known when the thread was titled "hosting VoG hard, don't suck" I had been having a lot of trouble trying to get accepted into the Hard mode Crota groups lately. I have completed hard mode several times, just been unlucky with getting hunger of Crota and Gjallahorn. I was tired of being asked when I entered hard mode Crota raid groups, "do you have Gjallahorn?, do you have Hunger of Crota?" When the answer came back that I did not, I was either booted, other people dropped, or at the very best they let me stay and just groaned that they knew in their hearts that I was to be carried and probably the cause of wipes. So I figure, screw it. I will just farm VoG with my pair of warlocks and run normal Crota end until I get one of the two. I wanted to stop being discriminated against for being "bad" and not having "earned" either tracking rocket, despite having completed hard mode Crota end several times. So I request to join thinking its VoG no problem and get invited to party. The second the mic connects I am bombarded by the group leader. "What does BretTheRipper have?, do you have upgraded Gjallahorn? Do you at least have a Hunger of Crota???" In a demanding aggressive tone. This was a VoG hard mode group! Neither of those guns are even needed! I quickly shot back that requiring either of those guns for his group was ludicrous and that he was the type of person ruining this game for many. I wasn't going to help him complete anything, I was angry. I thought we were beyond this point in the game. I rage quit his group in a flurry angered curse words. I now dread having to find any group, that anyone can send me into an upset rage just because I don't have a Gjallahorn or Hunger of Crota. Not just the elitists running Crota hard, but VoG groups as well. Edit #2 thank you for the positive responses! I play on ps4 if there is anyone wanting to join. Psn is BretTheRipper Edit #3. Well with the hundreds of replies I have figured out why I still don't have hoc. I only have 10 Crota kills. Only having one character was the main reason. Many weeks early on we would get to Crota and not get it done. I didn't know hoc dropped from Crota cp only. I made a second warlock and I'm considering making a third so I can up my chances for hoc alone and speed this up.
