The Hawkmoon Drought
I hope I'm not the only one who can't seem to get this gun to drop. I have to vent. I've run nightfalls for what seems like forever and raids too.
First I am a day one player, I was an Alpha Tester, Beta Tester and continue to play a good amount of time each week. I normally don't post crap on the forums, but I'm starting to think I'm cursed. I've received The Last Word x 5, Suros x 3, Gjallarhorn x 4, Patience and Time x 4,, and many many other copies, including multiple copies of armor and still no Hawkmoon. I mean seriously can the gun be this hard to get?

Edit 2: I am on PlayStation 4.

Edit 4: I have approximately 780 hours of time in the game among my three characters.
Edit 5: No Hawkmoon from all three Nightfalls and 1 CE run...
Edit 6: Nothing from the chest in VoG on all 3 characters. Nothing from Ir Yut on my Warlock.

Edit 7: Finished Crota on Hard with my Warlock, no exotic from him. Need to finish it on my Hunter but no invites last night because he's 31, if you want to help hit me up on PSN later tonight. Deelow is my PSN. Also planning on finishing VoG on Hard x 3 tonight. Might run Crota on the Titan if my clan isn't running it this weekend.

After Crota the other day Hawkmoon literally is the last gun I don't have. I'm missing Obsidian Mind, Knucklehead Radar, Hunters Crest of Alpha Lupi and Radiant Dance machines for armor.
Update 9: Nightfall finally paid off. The Drought is over!!!!!!!

Hope you get one man, I was dumbfounded when I got mine. Finished the nightfall and seen it pop up on the side and just froze then calmly jumped into eath patrol equipped it and wrecked house. All I need now is the thunderlord I'm not really worried about the necro.

The only exotic I'm missing is hawkmoon and red death, and the crux. All I care about is the hand cannon though. I've also played since alpha, and beta, daily. Except the weekend he sold red dead :/ ....however I just want that hawkmoon man. I feel your pain. Multiples of all others have dropped, 4 gallys, 5 vex ect..just want a hawkmoon

5 gjallarhorn, 7 icebreakers, 7 vex, 5 thunderlord, 5 hardlight etc etc... The only gun I cannot drop is hawkmoon.

Same boat..played the beta..I've gotten 3 Monte Carlos,4th Horseman 11 Vex, 5Ghorns, 9 Icebreakers, and I could go on. But no Hawkmoon. Its the last gun i need to complete my exotic weapon collection. I promise, when i get it'll stay equipped forever.

I've beaten crota/atheon both a good amount of times having 3 above lvl 30 chars and playing since launch... and I have yet to see one exotic drop.. Anyone else as lucky as me?

One dropped for a teammate in nightfall today. Also had 3 drop in n fire teams last week including my 2nd. I felt they were trying to make it more common... Maybe not

Keep grinding man. It sucks. I had over 600 hours before I got my Hawkmoon. But when I got it almost cried :'( Omnigul is the best. Gave me Gjallarhorn and Hawkmoon.

I got Hawkmoon on the chest right before gorgons. I absolutely freaked out. The gun is well worth the grind so do not give up guardians!
