Umm Thorn? Iron banner feedback
Thorn in the iron banner the noobiest thing in the game that it's game breaking i rather get warlock melee from a mile away than getting killed by that gun. And heavy ammo respawns to frequently so rocket launcher fest. Also the rage quitting i know that's not the iron banner fault but people keep leaving when they know they are losing so I get left with a 3v6 scenario my solution is players have to pay glimmer like a 350 per round so players know what they are getting into and that can be the penalty for quitting mid game this is just my feedback. P.S I wanna see Thorn noobs see how they defend the Thorn and say it's not op you're right not op but game breaking can't wait for hand cannon nerf.

1 RespuestaLeave thorn alone please......most thorn kills are headshots not dot kills, i hate the mida tool, especially when 3 or 4 of the opposition have it, thats when i pull my thorn out, but i dont go online and complain about any weapon, and ask bungie to "Nerf that gun i hate it its OP" learn how to deal with a thorn user, year one thorn was a 2 shot body shot kill, the dot was insane, so was the gun, now.....it is as it should be......btw, i hate being killed by thorn to, but there are many more OP guns than thorn, i am so sick of all the thorn bashers, i worked damn hard for that gun, solo' d the quest...took me 2 months, why shouldnt i be able to use it, i get more kills with tlw, or shotguns,bad juju,the list goes on, why is anyone a noob, for using thorn against mida multi noobs? Oops, sorry 'mida multi tool users,

I think, for reasons, I can't explain, people take it personal when they're killed by hand cannons and that makes those encounters memorable. No way most times you were killed in IB that the majority of the killers were Thorn or hand cannons users. Point? Forget all this nerfing business. And I have Thorn but I don't use it much.

"Thorn is a noob gun" Why because it's good? You will never find a pro player in any game saying they don't use the best gun in the game because it'll make people look down on them.

If there are so many freaking OP guns out there, why don't these crybabies start using one of them instead of crying about getting owned in the crucible. Man up, get the best gun you have and go freakin kill people in IB. I think the vast number of people complaining for nerfs, haven't worked to acquire any of them, and bought all their gear in the tower....

I was killed by way more by Vex Mythoclast than Thorn. I got more kills with auto rifles and Red Hand IX. To each their own.

1 RespuestaI used thorn 100% of the time during IB once I was finished with the headshot bounty. It's a great gun but it's not unstoppable. I got beat one on one many times by people who understood tactics. Anyone who just ran at me in a straight line got mowed down. Destiny pvp is not "run and gun". Learn the maps, play tactically, and choose your battles. If you're consistently getting killed by one guy who's using a Thorn, you're consistently doing something wrong.

There is nothing I hate more than getting into a fight with a Thorn user, winning the fight, then dying anyway. So I would make it so if the user dies the burning effect stops, or just outright remove the burning effect from PvP. Its stats are decent enough that removing the effect won't break the gun.

2 RespuestasSooooo... Don't use a good gun in crucible because it will make you look like a noob.... Use bad guns so you can look like a cool pro... If cool and pro means sitting in a chair pushing buttons... Get over yourselves its a game. Exotics were made with cool perks to make it fun. If you are over 20 and you are crying how "OP" something is, I fear you may have major maturity and mental issues and I recommend you seek help.

It shoots just as fast as last word if you get it right and it has a much greater range.

6 RespuestasThorn is a very good, sometimes overused hand cannon. It can be quite fair at times, other times not so much. Theoretical fair example: You shoot your victim twice with precision damage. He still has enough time to retaliate assuming you stop shooting and let the mark of the devourer kill him. So in this situation he can still get a kill. Theoretical unfair example: You shoot your target 3-4 times with precision damage, spamming the trigger until he dies. Your target may not be able to retaliate in time. Overall, I think thorn is perfectly fine how it is. It can take a very painful and long time to complete the bounty for some people, and is powerful because of that. At least take into your consideration that there are many other guns that need balancing.

I hate the thorn but didn't have a Prob with it in iron Banner I think it's worse in normal crucible imo

If it's not thorn it would be another weapon. I am not that great in crucible but I am smart enough to know the good players are very versatile and they will always use the best guns and class to maximize getting the most kills possible. If they buff Thorn today you would be complaining about a different weapon tomorrow .

1 RespuestaNo hand cannon in this game should two shot EVER. My IB hand cannon has the highest impact you can have on a hand cannon and it STILL takes two head shots and a body shot to kill. The thorn should go back to how it was, two head shots and a body shot on top of the burn damage. Five body shots for a kill just like any other hand cannon in the game.

The only problem I have with Thorn is that it out guns auto rifles in power and range.

Heavy amo drops as often as it does i crucible. And vex is much more affective in IB in my opinion. Has much more successyself than with thorn. And get killed by that way more frequently. Neither needs a nerf. Suros kills me more than thorn does still. Thorn is probably number 5 on my list of i frquently die to that gun. So id say i can evade that one just fine. You need to do the same
