Ban the dam lag switchers in Iron Banner
Tired of lag switchers coming out like roaches during iron banner. Bungie fix this crap, it is sad on your part. We never had this problem with Halo.
I hope all lag switchers's account gets banned and erased.

I not long got accused of lag switching and modding >.> i do not see the point in lag switching or modding in any game its unfair and sucks the fun out of the game for other players. i have played games like iron banner and trails to have fun not to cheat some people though -_-

1 RespuestaI probably came across looking like a lag switcher the last two nights in IB. Playing in a hotel room using my phone as a hotspot to connect. Traveling sucks and usually signal is pretty good but last two nights was bad. So, sorry to those I ran into in the 360.

2 RespuestasYou do realize that in the last few months connections have been absolute shit in PvP for many people that aren't lagswitching. I've lost track of how many matches I've had where almost every player was red bar, and I very much doubt that there was 11 people using lagswitches. Seems that no one wants to admit that a big part of the problem is on bungie's end, either their servers are shit or they use a player with a bad connection as host if they use p2p for the PvP. Amazing how many people automatically think that 90% of people playing are lagswitching when connections are bad, honestly what would be the point? Anyone who plays this game knows that the exotics and other good shit drop for the players near the bottom of the rankings never for the top players...lol.

I hope all lag switchers account gets banned and erased.[/quote] First of all there were a lot more problems with halo so get your facts straight, you clearly weren't around for the days of halo 2 where almost everyone modded online and bridged host connection to use team standby. Also no one is lag switching in destiny it's called bungie's crappy servers, it doesn't matter how good your connection is I guarantee you will lag in crucible.

Its the servers more than likely. I red bar all the time in PvE. I usually have to log out and back in at least twice a day when im playing to reset my connection to the Destiny servers. It was so bad last night my IB shots weren't even registering as hits on the devil walker during the sepikis strike and when the would register it would take over a second for the damage numbers to show up. It was horrible. Go stand in the tower and bring up the menu that shows ur friends list amd who all is in the tower with you and find your name in that list along with your connection status. You can watch it switch between green, yellow and red just standing in the tower. The servers need some serious work.

It's just horrible lag that makes the iron banner unplayable due to a bad host. Bungie needs to take action and get dedicated servers!

2 RespuestasI don't know if it was coincidence or not, but there was a defender titan in a game with me the other night and every time I went against him he had a shield on ( the shield you get when you melee someone as defender). This was throughout the whole game, he had the shield bar all the the time. Anyone else seen something like that?

1 RespuestaI have just been in a game of IB before XBOX live went down. All 12 connections were red. My connection is always red and I get ultra bad lag. Hits do not register and enemies who should be dead end up killing me instead. I am not good at PvP but like to play, my KD sucks. Just wish I had a better connection so I could play properly and perhaps get the kills I work hard for. I put it down to bad internet speed, bad connection and bad servers. However, there are many I play against who just never die, no matter what you do. Earlier I hit someone with 6 shots from Salvation State, 2 shots from Two for the morgue and two melee hits, then I died. When your as bad as me at PvP you just want it to be fair.

3 RespuestasAgreed, this iron banner is pretty bad wit lag switchers.. Not hard to tell.. Look for the guys with red connection icon in list and look at boards... Not saying 100% of the time is true but its not tough to really see. Same goes for all the laggers with raid gear,shaders and such. Lost much respect for most all the YouTube game channels for lying about using lag switching then glorifying it and encouraging it. Ban those guys first.. Anyone who shows themselves pushing crota off... Ban them!!! One solid round of bans across the board no appeals !! Bungie did it back for halo 2 and 3 when it became a problem, and didn't cure it, but stopped the casual lagger at least. Then became an industry for folks to build lagger hardware to hide it and such. Considering how lazy you have to be to even do this, I doubt most would go through the effort of lagging if they thought for a second their account would get 100% ban. How is this different than the round of bans in the beginning of destiny when folks were giving themselves 99999 glimmer and marks and such by using modded systems. I admit now when I see laggers in iron banner I concede and go hide in corner and just collect my losing mark ... No more raging or getting upset because it seems it happens in most every game. Last iron banner was not nearly ad bad but as mentioned,was not as popular with the masses since the crota ledge push videos went viral. Bungie... Seriously bitch slap Deej, and put someone on this issue? Look at your old playbooks from10 years ago and put out a fix?

Cheers Leon, I was working on an exotic bounty the other day and was taken out by one guy that seemed to walk through all of the players. I managed to take all of his energy down only to die and watch as he hid in a corner. No more than a second a fellow team mate jumped in and shot him point blank. Dead to rights he should have fallen. The lagging roach managed to return fire kill the other teammate. That's me signed out. Crucible and iron banner are great fun. Pity there are so many twits cheating the game. Thanks for the post.

I've noticed that when people do this though they're particularly vulnerable to sniper headshots... Have you noticed me lag switchers? Perhaps you've noticed my No Land Beyond round... In your face?

3 RespuestasThis didn't happen in IB, but I ran across a warlock who kept invisible-melee killing the entire team. Dude was literally ducked out on the other side of the map but was somehow Tyson punchin/ear-eating like he was right next to us. Teammates would just drop dead all around me for no reason, then when I got killed (showed as a melee kill), the kill cam showed him way the F away. Finally killed him by going to his hiding spot and blasting him - his body was there crouched out behimd boxes like he was hiding. Is that cheating or some stupid server glitch?

I don't know if it's lag switching, but Iron Banner is pretty much unplayable on my end. I could play BF: Hardline with next to no lag, but not a 12 man match on Destiny? Something is strange about that.
