Why are people still fascinated by a book that's had over 1/2 of it removed and altered?
Not trying to start a rage war but I used to be Christian and stopped after I learned what emperor Constantine did
Atheist for a while then went back to the family religion.

Christian means Christ-like. Anyone who goes around declaring wars. Stealing, -blam!- and all manners of ungodliness is not a Christian. People can claim to be something when they actually are not what they claim to be. For instance Osama could have claimed to be a nice guy who loves everyone and wants peace yet in reality he was responsible for thousands upon thousands of deaths which he ordered. See my point? No Christian would do any of those things because Christian means Christ like. So if Christ wouldn't do bad stuff then a Christian wouldn't do it.

I agree ... There are a lot of people, religions, and cults that claim to do christian things and follow jesus/bible but turn around judge, condemn and harass people. When that's not what the bible teaches.

He edited only HIS bible. He can't change the dead sea scrolls which is what we got the bible from.

No not really King James bible As edited by king james These versions are edits Gutenberg bible is closest to original you can find practically and its 4 times the size and even that's nit original

And yeah people can re arrange the bible, change, add or just get rid of whatever they want in it. But the bible as a living book is the first hand account of jesus disciples and men who God chose to display his message through. The words change and rearrange BUT, the message will ALWAYS stay the same. Repentance of sins, we cannot save our self, jesus is God and salvation for humanity. I can say " go get that pencil please " Or " over there, you see the pencil? Get it for me now " It was edited but the message was the same.

The bible isn't .... The books in the bible are written from the people who witnessed it or were chosen by God to have knowledge to write them or were shown by God.

We can all see the face of God when we look at everyone around us .... We were made in his image. God has only let i believe 1-2 people actually see his face.

We can see Gods face when we look at the person next to us .... We are created in his image so God has a face just liked ours And people could look at jesus and see their fathers face because jesus WAS God

Every man is ... We all make choices to follow God or not. Unfortunately Isis follow a different " god " and their so called god tell them to hurt people .... But evil does not come from God it comes from satan who is a great deceiver.

God is all powerful. But he doesn't MAKE someone believe in him, follow him, or have faith in him. He wants you to make that choice to give your life to him. He could make you but then it wouldn't be true from the heart love.

You don't go to hell if you don't love someone .... The way you go to hell is by denying God your creator and believing you can save yourself. Salvation is accepting Jesus Christ into your life, knowing that you are a sinner, repent and turn from your ways and try ( I say try because it's almost impossible to be like Jesus ) to walk a straight path till you are brought back home ( heaven ) that means by yes loving those around you even when wronged, baring fruit ... ( Giving to those less fortunate, caring for people, spreading the gospel and being fishers of men ) etc ... People don't understand that being a Christian doesn't mean we are perfect ( we are far from it ) but by the grace of God we are forgiven and saved. Being a Christian and believing the bible and having faith in God is actually better for humanity ... It teaches how to love, how to care and how to treat each other. Unfortunately other religions and cults get this wrong and even christian churches don't do this and they make bad names for the ones that actually follow Gods word.

So you agree I'm going to hell Anyway I meant about someone not loving god back The morals of the bible are for a healthy life, this is undeniable, HOWEVER you can find these sane morals in the Torah and Quran What is it that makes Catholics more right?

Catholics think they can be forgiven of their sins by their father(pastor) this can't be done because the father(pastor) is a human sinner as well and only God can forgive you of your sins. They also believe in you have to do good works to gain faith ... Which is completely wrong jesus was the final work when he died and rose from the ground so all we have to do is have faith. And unfortunately you and others will go to hell if they do not accept Jesus Christ into their lives and repent from their sins. Jesus is the only way into heaven.

Not asking you to question your faith, asking you to question what may or may not be truthful Another reason I like being wiccan, we believe in reincarnation, for everyone regardless of personal beliefs
