ok so my first post i addressed this and i got a lot of interesting answers
pros:
no time wasted getting a group together and make new friends.
cons
people that join may not have headsets (which i hear is essential for certain raids). There is also a greater risk of running into casuals who decide to leave halfway into a raid.
Conclusion:
I agree with both sides of the argument. Overall, i think bungie should atleast implement an ingame LFG system. That way, people wont have to go on websites; detaching themselves from the game. what do you guys think?

Ok, so how would check points work ?
-
No. No. No. No. No. It isn't hard to find a group on the app or put together a few friends. That way you guarantee they all have a mic. If one person doesn't have a mic it will screw the whole thing up.
-
Yes. But it must be optional to the normal way people raid now.
-
3 RespuestasI'm ok with no raid matchmaking. I would like to see matchmaking for the nightfall and weekly heroic though. There really is no reason not too because everyone is so familiar with the strikes already and no extra communication is needed. I'll have my mic connected for nightfall but besides saying what's up at the start I have never needed to use it.

Yes! It's as simple as this - It's an option, if you don't want to use it no one would be forcing you.
-
Dont forget about all the 31s joining in crota hard
-
I'd say make it optional, and when you go to use the matchmaking option, it brings up a prompt telling you that it's recommended that you find your own group. This prompt should also tell you anything else you'd need to know before you raid (i.e. communication is important, upgraded gear is highly recommended, ect).

Lvl 7 lol

Matchmaking would be aweful. The time it takes getting everyone into raid is worth it
-
I think it should be an option. Along with doing strikes solo instead of having to group with randoms. I would still use the forums but if people want to take the chance let them it doesn't affect me.

I think a matchmaking option for the normal raids would be okay but leave the hard mode the way it is now.
-
-
Optional for sure.
-
With the way people are with ROC strikes I say no way!
-
I think it should be optional....when the launch prompt pops up you should be able to choose private party or matchmaking....
-
Hard to say. On one hand, you'd get a group together a lot quicker and can go from there without having to wait for long, and without the hassle of going online to assemble a group. On the other hand, you get stuck with random people with varying experience, the ever hated possibility of one or more people trying to AFK, as commonly seen in strikes already, and others may leave during the raid due to the first two cons.
-
An in-game LFG feature would be best.
-
-
Look at how much people bitch about strikes. No thanks. Lol
-
7 RespuestasI say yes, doesn't hurt anyone so I don't know why those who have teams object to it. It would be good for Bungie, more players having fun!
-
I think if the raids were broken into sections it would work
-
Hell no never it's terrible in roc strikes where ppl just go afk imagine raids
-
I'd rather have lobbies for raids with a matchmaking option as a last resort. The lobbies would be easy to join and finding a group would be much easier

NO SCRUB
