Why is Eris' Ship Hitched to the Railing?
This bugs me so much and no matter how hard I try, I just can't unsee it.
For some reason Eris' ship is hitched to the railing near where she stands in the Tower.
It's ridiculous!
It's not a horse, it's a space ship! And also, "hitched" is an overstatement! It's not even secured! It's just loosely wound around the railing. If the ship got panicked or wandered off (which Eris seems to fear), the rope would just unfurl.
I thought this was the future! I didn't realise ships needed to be tied up with ropes! Eris' ship seems to hover there completely motionless, it doesn't even bob or sway!
What gives? Is Eris a few sandwiches short of a picnic? Is there a grimoire card that explains this or something? Does this bother anyone else? Am I crazy for being bothered by this?
It drives me crazy!

1 RespuestaMaybe it is just a balloon. She had a mental breakdown after her fireteam got destroyed, so the speaker took her real ship snd gave her a balloon instead so she doesn't run off and do something dangerous.

Cause she's obviously from the ghetto and doesn't respect civilized practices like using a docking bay, so she just parks that heep of junk wherever she wants. That thing is flying probable cause for Tower PD, I mean sht btch is bleed from her three eyes and talks like she is high on space mushrooms

People are commenting about the tether. The ship itself doesn't need to be parked there. We have a perfectly functional docking bay to the left.

What if it isn't a tether? What if it's some kind of Hive parasite she unknowingly brought along infesting the tower? You never know with those guys.

8 RespuestasShe uses the rope to get in and out of the ship ghost can teleport guardians but she doesn't have a ghost, she's also not a guardian so she doesn't have access to the hanger.

The ship's teleport system got badly damaged in Crota's battle and now she needs a way to guide her back to the ship. Her guiding-hive was confiscated at the Tower. Now she has to sell items to pay a scalper Vanguard lawyer to bail it out. Let's cooperate. Keep buying her stuff. :-)

She didnt defeat crota, so she doesnt really have the ship.. if you walk up to it and push you'll see that its just a cardboard cutout she put up behind her when she got to the tower. The rope is to hold the cardboard up
