Because it's reflective of a bunch of larger issues going on in modern society with the nature of blacks still being second class citizens.

The white guilt is strong with this one.

Famous rappers, famous movie stars, famous sports stars, famous president. Yep. Sounds second class to me. Zimmerman isn't white. But the media thinks he looks white enough to play this as a racial case. Black on black murder? No need to report that. Black kills a white? Non-story. White kills a white? Yawn. Mexican drug dealers kill us at the border? Viva Mexico! Stop pretending there is some kind of god damn utopia out there waiting for us. It doesn't exist anywhere. It never has. It never will.
