Nobody Cares that Control + Paste content was leaked
Everyone is acting like this is some huge deal. Oh what Titan? Spare Rations? Lol WOW can’t believe anyone would spoil that it’s so cool and unknown!! C’mon and please stop pretending like anyone is in the wrong here for spoiling some super compelling content that no one saw coming. Players are hungry for info because they almost can’t believe what we have now is it. Players have lost faith in the seasons ability to deliver. The “ leak “ is the only hype any part of the community has for the rest of the year and coming off Lightfalls true reception they should be lucky anyone cares at all. Just silly.

6 RespuestasApparently the ones that do care, matter the most. Very sad seeing he was respected by many in the community. He claims he was framed and Bungie is firm that he was the source of the leaks. He’s absolutely being made an example to let streamers know not to bite the hand that feeds them.

I mean, it WAS a contract. That the guy signed. And that he breached. Even if the content does not hype you, and that yes, they should give us more info on the next season before the first day of the season, he breached the contract.

3 RespuestasHonestly, Bungie brought this on themselves. They used to preview future content with roadmaps and trailers, even for Seasons. But then they stopped doing that in favor of showing off stuff to a bunch of influencers, and making them all sign a contract agreeing not to talk about anything with everyone else who wasn't invited. And then Bungie uses the argument that their developers work hard on the content, and it makes their work feel awful when it leaked. Guess what, it's our money. Every single person who bought the Season Pass has a right to have a general idea of what they paid for. And to show content to only a small number of your player base while leaving the rest in the dark and expecting us to blindly put faith in you, then that's breaking trust way more than any leak

Leaks are wrong, but given how Bungie handle Lightfall? I agree. Who cares. Might as well leak it themselves. You did players wrong with how you promoted LF, and the price tag on it. But it is on us too because we bought it. Tooooo much faith in them. So karma all the way around…and not nearly enough tbh. They act all broken up about it but…come on now. This is bungie.

Nobody "saw" it coming on their own. People had some idea only because of some earlier leaks. So yeah, leakers should be permabanned including IP addresses, hardware, etc.

Imagine your Bungie and you invite people over to your house for dinner only to find out afterwards your silverware is missing? The trust issue between Bungie and those invited to their summit was breached. Yea. I’d say that Bungie has good reason to be upset over this.
