It's not a good way to make you notice around... please, accept this as a kind advice. DCV exists for many reasons that you probably don't know which are connected to what happened to the Destiny 2 franchise in the last couple of years and Bungie as SH. DCV it's not great, but it's not even terrible. At least, it gaves you the chance to play old contents throught time. This means that they've not been completely deleted, just put a side to be "re-used" in periods of lean. Just keep patience. You'll have the chance to play throught the Leviathan or Scurge of the Past.
