Remember how hard it was to STOP a High Value Target back in Destiny 1? It was a really fun and difficult chase that either required teamwork, a Super, or some serious firepower! I want that chase back....Edit 2: What I’m suggesting is like 920 level Champions, not the 980 pieces of shite that piss everyone off!
Edit: Also could it drop literally anything but a blue engram? Back in Destiny 1 the reward for stopping a HVT was motes of light, in Destiny 2 that’d be equivalent to 1 upgrade module.
-
They don't have a champion version for every add.
-
Great idea. Too bad Bungie doesn't like good ideas.
-
I think they should be made a champion and have a loot drop chance of an enhancement core or an upgrade moulde.
-
2 RespuestasIf you want hard, take him on with blue armor and a sidearm. Why make it hard for everyone when you can make it has hard as you want yourself.
-
Champions on public events would be good also. Certainly make it more interesting.
-
this is why i want a heroic patrol zone. Going into regular patrol at max level is equal parts boring and weird. Boring because you can steamroll everything, but weird because at the same time you can get killed by a level 1 dreg...

Straight up, -blam!- that shit, Champions as a HVT is stupid and were restricted to only specific weapons for AB, Overload and Unstoppable mods, I'm not going to -blam!- around with trying to down a Champion if it's a HVT , the Moon already has Champions spawned in certain places but those are optional and are all Barrier Champions so
-
Champions exist to create another pointless mechanic. Fck champions.

3 RespuestasEditado por Angelus-B-: 1/16/2020 11:16:47 AMOne of my favourite areas in D1 was Skywatch, especially after TTK released, when you could have Warsat public event, then the enemy moving together, Irxori Lost to Oryx and Urzok the Hated all spawn at the same time, having to make sure you had Arc weapons or subclass to bring down his over shield before he stomped you. If you were solo on the map it was a Fkn nightmare but best fun on patrols.
-
It’d be great if these were random champions with a chance to be any type. Overload, barrier, unstoppable, etc. They should also be able to drop literally anything, with appropriate RNG percentage scaling for various items. They should ALSO have a very rare chance to drop HVT specific loot to give us something extra to look forward to. You know. Simple stuff like that.

20 RespuestasStop trying to trash the game with your elitist shitheads mentality ... people like you should be banned from the game because you don’t represent the community and you don’t represent those who are just starting out in the game
-
2 RespuestasI’d normally be ok with this, except people who don’t have the season pass won’t have the mod the easily take them down.
-
6 RespuestasIf I want to solo super powerful bosses, I’ll play Gambit.

4 RespuestasThere is one down deep in the moon on patrol. Can't remember exactly where but it's off in a little side room. Close to the world's grave I think.
-
Editado por Emurinus: 1/16/2020 6:21:52 PMYou could probably get away with Overload champions since they can be brute forced pretty easily, but Anti-barrier and Unstoppables would almost certainly require the mods which is stupid for killing a roaming HVT. You could argue having champions acted more like secret bosses that you could challenge though (similar to the powerful nightmares you see on the Moon).

3 Respuestas
Remember how hard it was to STOP a High Value Target back in Destiny 1?
Yeah, not hard at all.
-
Yes lets make everyone in Patrol have to team up with Izzy and Divinity ...
-
Dude I would just love to have the option to load into a 950 or 980 patrol zone. The first few days of Shadowkeep were so much fun with the difficulty level. It would really breathe new life into the game for me if patrols and lost sectors had a level of difficulty to them. They could beef up the rewards and planetary mats in these areas too. Bump on your HVT idea.👍

8 RespuestasNo. I don't want to have to install a weapon mod just to kill bosses on Patrol.
-
Sounds like a terrible idea so I'm sure bungie is onboard for doing it.
-
not a bad idea
-
No. It’s a public area, and it’s bad enough playing in Sundial with randoms who don’t have any of the mods equipped. And don’t get me started on what it’s like being in a nightfall with them.
-
Just do the 4 wandering nightmares on the moon. They aren't super easy. Not saying you'll get anything good from them, but... you will get a triumph.
-
Ah, Randal the Vandal? Halcyon days of D1 nostalgia! D2 did have that vandal in the quarry area of the EDZ on a small island near where the Injection Rig always lands but in recent months he seems to have been toned-down and is now easy to kill.
-
Nah. Just make them bullet sponges again

4 RespuestasBring back the massive taken bosses that roamed the cosmodrome They are much more interesting than champions
