I remember when I started playing D1. I was excited about getting it, about a week after release and loved it. Got good enough to solo a nightfall, though it took hours because it kicked you back to orbit when you died in those days. Wanting to raid finally prompted me to buy a mic. Then I got my dad playing and him and I played probably 1,000 hours together. The game had flaws but it was still amazing! D2 was a bit disappointing from the start, but had some good stuff. I went back to D1 and missed both the Warmind and Foresaken Dlc’s, but started playing it again like 4 months ago. Now, I’d say that as much as I really want to play the game it just isn’t exciting anymore. Back in the D1 days, every Tuesday at the very least I got in 3 nightfalls for the xp boosts. The biggest problem with D2 is Luke dipshit smith running the show. He stole this game and ran the creator outa town, it’s never going to be good as long as he works for Bungie.
