Ok I gotta know, what’s with all the love for thunderlord? Was it ever popular in 1? I don’t remember a lot of people using it and I never used it cuz I got ghorn really early when I started in HoW and in year 2 all the swords existed so what’s up with the hype?

It was nasty for arc burn nightfalls and was always a solid option for pvp.

LMGs were popular for pvp in general I remember being able to wipe a full team in clash with some of the better ones and still have plenty of ammo left over. Thunder lords rof increased the longer you held the trigger making that feat easier while also having the chance to proc an arc explosion on kill. not to mention the weapon looked awesome with all that crackling arc energy! will compliment my arc lock builds nicely.

Exactly, there were better ones, which again is why I’m confused. Yeah it looked and sounded cool but I never remembered it being popular.

When it came to LMGs Thunderlord was probably the best there was. Sure, the KF and WotM machine guns were used more often, but that was because people would generally use an Exotic like Black Spindle, TLW, Ice Breaker, etc... when it came to activities because they generally were better choices for the Exotic slot.

Like any decent weapon It was strong in the right hands personally I never used gally for pvp was always a lmg man
