Hunter takes the most skill in PVP. It requires the user to form a plan, and work faster and smarter, because of the lack of armor. A good player using a hunter has to work twice as fast and hard as a warlock, just to stay alive and be effective.

  • It doesn't take any skill. If you actually want to go fast as a hunter, use bones of eao and better control jump. You can go as fast as a Titan that way. Hunters have the easiest and most user friendly jump. You can traverse through the air faster by pressing x three times and that makes you be able to get the advantage over someone if your using a shotgun. Don't tell me it takes skill. As a Titan I know when I go into gunfight that if I'm losing a gunfight that there is going to be very little chance of escaping. As a Titan you have to enter gunfights you know you can win. Hunters can run into a gunfight and since your so agile you can get out of it just as easily. It doesn't take a lot of skill.

  • Like I said, it takes more skill and you have to work faster and harder. Try reading that again.

  • You don't have to work harder if anything you have to work harder to control a Titan. Pressing the x button so many times just to skate faster. Your not working harder, your using cheese movement abilities to get out of a gunfight that you were not skilled enough to to win.

  • You're confusing movement with playing skill. You should try to stop doing that. The aim assist is so high on this game that every rifle can be OP at their optimal range, so it takes an exceptional player to beat a terrible player, usually through movement and agility. If you think running around with a Titan and just mashing the trigger down is skill, and you're only beaten by a smarter player because they used a cheap tactic, you don't know what skill is.

  •
Your confusing movement with skill
No.... I'm not. Having good movement in this game takes probably the most skill in the game. If you don't think that then you must play very passive and use a sniper all the time. As a Titan, using my abilities to be very agile and close gaps between me and the opponent to shotgun them is hard. As a hunter it's very easy as you can basically teleport or shade step towards someone be very hard to hit.
Also trying to be passive aggressive in your speech really makes me lose respect for you, but after all I'm just some guy on the internet telling you the TRUTH that hunters are the easiest to use.
• -blam!- your respect. Facts are - hunter is fun, but difficult to master and be effective with. Otherwise, I wouldn't have quit PVP until the last 5 IB or so.

  • Dude, your not being cool trying to act like a little brat who's parent doesn't control him. Hunters do not take time to master. Their jump is simple and fast. Blink literally teleports you places, and shade step almost makes you impossible to hit. You have skip grenades, smoke, blink strike with front stab(oh wait... It's backstab. Sorry). You can track enemy players through walls. You can turn INVISIBLE. You had tripmine, which won't be as good now. I'm assuming you main a hunter and that is why I am saying you a lot.
I assume you will respond with an insult because there is no way you can refuse that what I have just told you didn't need an adjustment. Have a good.
Almost all of that is gimped now, or was weak before, which is why most hunters ran Nightstalker. Nightstalker gives a little more in the agility area at the expense of any decent grenade and a melee that needs to be used with it to be useful. Blink isn't helpful to me, and only a couple of the hunter mains that use Bladedancer, that I know, use it. Throwing knives weren't that useful anyway. They were more fun than anything. Edit - I didn't give a shit about being "cool" to before, I certainly don't now. I'm too -blam!-ing old to care what someone else thinks.

  • Are you kidding me. None of it is gimped now. I still see hunters everyday using those abilities. There's a reason why those abilities are most used too. Because they are stupidly good. Also I never talked about throwing knifes before either. I would like to say though that I am not a fan of how the throwing knifes can literally curve to kill people. I've seen it. The hitbox is really big for throwing knifes. Don't get why hunters think that takes so much skill. It does take a little but not as much as people are saying.
I really don't care if your old or not. But your insults make you seem like a little brat. I don't know If your old or young, I just know when people are being insulting for no reason.
• Look, jackass. Shut the -blam!- up about what you think or feel about me. If I gave a shit, I'd ask. People use what they like, some because it's fun, others because it's good. Nothing nerfed was broken or unfair. Only a couple of buffs were needed.

  • The armor difference is so insignifigant that using hunters dont have any armor in the cricible doesnt matter. They still die to the same amount of shots as a warlock or a titan and they have so much mobility it is easy to pick up on and thats why so many people play hunter. It is easy to pick up and be average to good with it if you play with it for a little bit.

  • I disagree. I have found Titan and Warlocks to be easier, and less stressful when playing. Especially Warlocks. So -blam!-ing easy that when I decide I want to just wreck shop, I pop in on my warlock and wrack up anywhere from a 1.5-3.4 K/D, laughing like an idiot the whole time at how easy it is.

  • Honestly hunters are the easiest to get kill streaks with because if they are about to die they can cheat death by teleporting or shade stepping away which keeps their streak alive.

  • Funny, all of my streaks with hunter came from using a good scout rifle from range, or with a sword on a twisty map where I could use corners to my advantage. Meanwhile, warlock and stormtrance...I can chain kills routinely.

  • This is simply not true...A bladedancer can literally just teleport and zoom around the map, no skill involved there. You know what else that can do? Upgrade armor AND agility.

  • Yea but what does require skill with blink and the sort is that you have to know when and how to properly use it, if you just "zoom" around the map with blink you will easily die

  • Bladedancer, is good in the hands of someone that's working hard to use it. The grenades suck, the only useful perk I've really found is hungering blade, and now blink strike range has been reduced. Nightstalker just got destroyed in a sense, because now the grenades are shit, and the only way to slow someone down so the grenade would actually do any damn thing just got broken. Oh yay, the super was semi restored....something we can use every few minutes... whoop de -blam!-ing Doo. I was thrilled if I could get more than one kill with those damn arrows, since they're a pain in the ass to aim, since it moves your reticle off target when it jumps to 3rd person.

  • Bladedancer, is good in the hands of someone that's working hard to use it. Skill and working hard are completely different. I stack a bunch of chairs to clean after an event. I was working really hard to stack them as fast as I could. Doesn't mean it took an skill, but I guess to you it would take skill.

I'm aware that bladedancer is a great subclass, that's the class I played the most. Not sure what to say about nightstalker, but overall it's more of a buff than a nerf. Take note of the medals on my hunter as proof :v
